I enjoyed today’s featured cocktail last week, on a beautiful warm day at Bohemian Bull. Thinking that was just last week amazes me, considering how much the temps have dropped this week. I feel like it’s becoming an ongoing trend that I choose something sweet with a subtle kick on the menu. I’ll try and find something more winter-appropriate on next week’s post.

This past Friday, Lanier had the day off and the kids had school. After I dropped them all off, I met up with Lanier and we went fishing. It was a great day, a slight cool breeze, but nothing too uncomfortable, and we caught some great-sized fish!
Afterward, I went home and got all the kids and we went back out on the boat. I’m so thankful we did, considering it was freezing cold and rainy the rest of the weekend.

Another tennis outfit. Didn’t mean to mix this many prints. Haha. But after awhile, I kind of liked it. I guess I grabbed this jacket running out the door and didn’t think about what shorts I had on. Still loving my Nike Tennis Shoes (also available in pink here, and they’re both on sale. They fit true to size.)
I honestly can’t remember the name of this place, but their salmon was so good!
Enjoying hot chocolate, awaiting the super moon on Monday night.
The kids loved seeing it, but I think they liked getting to stay up later and sip on hot chocolate more.
All snuggled in with my oldest baby in my favorite cozy cardigan (now on sale!).
Effie had a great birthday yesterday. Thanks so much for all the well wishes! Lucky 7! Just like her sister’s cake in June, she wanted a Star Wars cake too. There will be more celebrating this afternoon, and she’s so excited!

I know I’m constantly raving about my Kate Spade Licorice Heels, but I just found them on sale! The turquoise color would be such a fun pop of color! For sizing, they run a little big. Random question–I always love your hair and I think you’ve mentioned that you use a straightener to curl it. Which straightener do you use?
