Wheeler started her summer break off by going to a presbyterian church camp in Montreat for a week. They’ve had the best weather – cool, mid 60s mountain air.
I’ve heard from her a few times this time and she seems to be really enjoying it. Some of the kids like to sleep in everyday, but she’s choosing to wake up early (like she usually does) and take the morning hikes. Love that.
Effie started a three week theater camp. They’re performing Into the Woods at the end of the three weeks and she’s so excited! It’s one of her favorite musicals. She got the part of Baker – one of the leads. So proud of her!
Love having them with me all summer! Even with the different camps and activities, there’s just something about summer break.
Effie also found out she got into her troupe’s senior company last week. We are thrilled!
We golf carted to sushi to celebrate!
The boys and I have been having fun finding activities to do together. It was pretty rainy and cold yesterday, so we went to see the new Spiderman movie. It was really long – two and a half hours. But they loved it.
This photo was from June when the girls were about the same age as the boys. Also, if anyone questioned that I didn’t need my teeth straightened, check out my front two teeth. What a difference. And they no longer hurt because they aren’t crossed.
For locals, Kiki & Rye is now BarPizza. We loved the pizzas. The pasta not as much. But I’d go back.
