Spring Break – Sanibel: Part Two

As always, we love our pool time, as much as we love our beach time when we’re on vacation.

My best friend, the Beachwaver. // Sunnies // Bikini

How cute is Wheeler’s new suit?  It’s so hard to find one-pieces for them, these days.  Their torsos are so long, that they don’t fit as well.

See what I mean about our deserted pool.  The other people was bigger and had a better view, but it was crowded with people so we preferred this one.

All smiles.

Wink Hat // Jellies

I’m glad I packed two hats, since Effie enjoyed wearing my straw visor.

Thank goodness they love good music, since they always insisted on being djs.  This speaker/radio is water resistant and perfect for the pool.

Shirt // Sunnies // Bracelets // Cup // Bikini Top

We loved Lazy Flamingo.  Our favorite was probably the garlic bread.  So good!

Cover-Up Queens: On Me // On the Girls

Wish we would’ve wiped the blurry camera lens for these pics, but guess we can’t complain.

This view never got old.

One thing about Sanibel Island is that the shells are in abundance.  The kids loved collecting them and creating little works of art.

We headed off to Cheeburger Cheeburger for dinner after our beach day.

There are lots of cut-outs here, and the kids loved walking around and checking them all out.  Next year, they’ll get to meet the real Buzz and Woody when we head to Disney World.

I got the Fiesta Burger and it was delicious.  I need to create this one at home sometime!

These Four. 😉

She loved adding a little flair to her drinks.

What I Wore

Dress // Flip Flops // Purse

Sharing at least one more recap with you soon!

Hope y’all are having a great week so far!

  1. I’m so glad you guys had such a great time! We have been going at least twice a year since I was in high school and my kids are OBSESSED! You should check out South Seas on Captiva next time, it’s SO kid oriented! The Lazy Flamingo is the best! Did you guys make it to the Bubble Room?

    1. We went there on on our last day! We really enjoyed Captiva, maybe even more than Sanibel. 😉 Kids loved The Bubble Room. One more Sanibel post coming up soon. 😉
