Lanier was supposed to go on an all-day deep sea fishing trip today, on his day off, but unfortunately the weather just wasn’t clear enough so the captain had to cancel their trip. With all of this rain, you would think that my allergies would be at bay, but they’re not. I’m so congested and won’t get more shots for another two weeks. Hoping it clears up soon! The kids however are so excited that they don’t have school today! I’m sure they’ll be asking me as soon as they finish breakfast if they can use their new umbrellas and go jump in some puddles. Cheap thrills!
