I’m actually creating this one over the weekend!
Cannot wait to share this with friends!
Pumpkin Spice Halloween Punch
(found it here)
2 honeycrisp apples
2 pears
1 orange
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar, or more to taste
1 cup bourbon
3 cups apple cider
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2 bottles pinot grigio, chilled
1 pumpkin, for serving (optional)
Thinly slice apples, pears and oranges lengthwise, then place in a large bowl.
Coat with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Add honey, brown sugar, bourbon, apple cider and pumpkin pie spice, stirring gently to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours, or overnight.
Top with chilled pinot grigio and serve.
Sounds delicious, right?
Happy Sipping!
If you’re looking for a last-minute simple activity to do with the kids (or just adults) consider a Pumpkin Decorating Party. That’s just what my friends and I did last night. It’s a way to get creative, without the mess, and you get to leave with your pumpkin masterpiece at the end of the party. Maybe even consider decorations for a Thanksgiving-inspired pumpkin? That way you can keep him out through November. Unfortunately, I was too smitten holding a baby that I didn’t take nearly as many photos as I should have, and wished I would’ve snapped a pic of everyone’s final products. You’ll be able to see some of the works in progress in my photos. The printed duct tape was so clever and super easy. Thanks to my friends Sam and Perri for hosting such a fun event!
What I Wore
BB Dakota Sweater (the back is even cuter, see this post for a pic of the back, runs true to size) // J.Crew Jeans (true to size) // Dolce Vita Clogs (I’m an 8.5 and wear a 9 in these.) // Candy Shop Vintage Necklace // Baublebar Druzy Ring // Tory Burch Logo Studs // iPhone Case // J.Crew Parker Crossbody
It’s rained so much these past few days, and these leggings have gotten so much wear! They are so soft and they’re actually running leggings, so you can wear them around town or for working out. // Hunter Original Tall Rain Boots (I’m an 8.5 and wear a 8 in these.)
I got this top last week and have patiently been waiting for it to arrive online, so I could share it with you! I checked today and it’s now available! The intricate details and embellishments are amazing. Seriously, it’s hard to describe unless you see it in person. I’m thinking I’ll probably wear it now, but will probably pair it with red pants over the holidays. It’s seriously so beautiful. For fit, it runs big. I’m in a 6 with definitely room to spare, like I probably could’ve done a 4 too.
I’m off to the pumpkin patch this morning with Wheeler’s class. Cannot wait to have some one-on-one time with her. How rare that is these days! Her one request is that I wear pink. I think I’ve got that covered with this little cardigan.
Happy Thursday!
Hi are you wearing a small in the BB Dakota sweater? I'm deciding between and small and medium but it looks like a generous fit on you. Thanks!
A small 😉
I'm wondering whether to order a small or medium too! I can't decide what to do…
I probably could've done a medium too. You know how I like that things fit bigger. You'll probably be okay with either one.
Look at you and your precious self in your clogs. I love seeing your face here daily. Miss and love you!
