Our Weekend + What I Wore

Happy First Day of March!  As always, February came and went in a flash!  Thankfully, after weeks of cold, rainy weather, we were rewarded with beautiful weather this past weekend.  It hit 80 degrees on Saturday and Sunday!  Still can’t believe it!  And you better believe we enjoyed every second outside that we could!

On Saturday morning, we headed to the aquarium.  Many of you asked about the crowds.  You currently have to make an appointment in order to visit, unlike in the past, when you could just walk in whenever you wanted.  If you arrive first thing, like we did, there aren’t that many people.  I think it gets busier as the day goes on.

We tried out a new lunch spot downtown and it was delicious!

Fried zucchini and pork rinds to start!

We went with the Pistachio Pesto and Pork Trifecta pizzas and they were so good!

Lots of time was spent in the marsh out back!  Vaughn was so excited to see all the fiddler crabs coming out with the warmer weather.

On Saturday night, we headed out for a date night.

Wore this dress (wearing a small, fits true to size) andthese wedges (I’m an 8.5 and wear a 9 in them).

We all squeezed in on the couch on Sunday to watch The Croods: A New Age.  It was cute!

Can’t even believe how tall Wheeler is getting.  She’s only 12.5 and almost as tall as me.  I’m 5’6″.  So anxious to see how tall she’ll grow!

Closed all of my rings for February!

So far, I’ve closed all of my rings since last April!

Not sure why October didn’t show up as closing all my rings.  But oh well.  Here’s to closing them for March!

I hope y’all have a great start to your week!  After hearing your opinions about this top from Friday’s post, I ordered two of them and will decide which one to keep once they come in!  Love how colorful they are!

  1. Hi,
Hope you are well. Do you recall what color Apple Watch band you were wearing? That looks like the perfect shade of blue.
    Thanks!
