Loved this message on the exterior of Hotel Bennett.
Good morning, sleeping beauties!
On Saturday morning, we woke up and headed downstairs to La Patisserie for breakfast.
It was hard to choose their favorite. It all looked so good!
What’s better than enjoying a delicious breakfast with your pajamas on?
I loved this Christmas Ornament pastry. The filling was incredible!
It was a pretty chilly morning, but it was nice to get some fresh air. The Saturday Morning Farmer’s Market was also right next door!
After breakfast, Lanier and I headed down to the gym to work-out. Loving the color of this new work-out top.
We had the gym to ourselves, both days!
After breakfast, we changed and headed out to enjoy such a beautiful day on King Street and played around in Marion Square.
How sweet is this 4-month old German Shepherd that Vaughn befriended named Matisse (after General Matisse in Frozen 2).
Before dinner that evening, Lanier and I popped into Fiat Luxe for a cocktail. I had the ‘Mint-er is Coming’ and it was so delicious! Wearing this dress. I save a lot of my dresses and hope that my girls will wear them to their special occasions too! Crazy to think this may be happening sooner than later. Wheeler’s already wearing some of my vests and shoes and they fit her so well!
My friends Natalie and Jennifer met me for a drink, before Lanier and I headed to dinner.
Cassandra was the best bartender!
I’ve worn this bracelet so much lately!
One quick pic before Lanier and I headed to dinner. Thankfully, we didn’t have to travel far for dinner. Gabrielle is the most amazing restaurant and it’s located right downstairs at Hotel Bennett.
This salad was incredible!
Can’t go wrong with oysters!
I’ve had this truffle cauliflower soup before and couldn’t wait for Lanier to try it.
We asked the chef to surprise us with our entrees. He brought Lanier this filet with scallops.
He brought me the shrimp gnocchi. They were both exactly what we were craving!
And for dessert, this special treat! The waitress pour melted chocolate on top of the cookies right at the table!
A 40th Birthday Dinner I’ll never forget!
The next day proved to be dreary and rainy, but we didn’t mind at all. We were just happy that it waited a day, so we could enjoy our Saturday with beautiful weather!
We picked up the ornament above as a little keepsake to remember our special trip! Truly, a weekend I will never forget! So thankful we got to spend it together! Click here to book your own magical stay at Hotel Bennett. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
