Sharing more photos from our weeks in quarantine. So thankful for lots of snuggle time.
And practicing new hairstyles.
A few weekends ago, we headed out on the boat… (Warning: Scroll past the next pic if you’re squeamish.)
We hit a big wave and Effie accidentally bumped cracked her teeth and they went completely through. In true Effie fashion, she was as brave as she could be and didn’t even cry when it happened.
Thankfully, Dr. Schimpf at Sweetgrass Plastic Surgery sewed her right up and she has healed great! Her two front teeth thankfully didn’t break off too high, so we got the jagged edges dulled a little and will get them fixed up better after the quarantine.
The next day, Effie insisted that she wanted a redo, so we took the boat out again the next day. Vaughn created this little camp for himself.
Shooing the seagulls away.
And finding the teeniest little hermit crabs.
Love how resilient she is. She agreed we had a great day in our happy place.
We’ve enjoyed lots of bike rides and runs throughout the quarantine. I don’t know what I’m going to do when they all go back to school in the Fall. Going to miss all this extra time with them so much!
Palms for Palm Sunday!
Wore this shirt yesterday. Currently only $15!
It’s hard to capture the true colors of these bracelets in a photo, but they shimmer so much in the light. Could wear them everyday! Perfect tones for summer! Take 20% off with code: SWEETSOUTHERNPREP20. No minimum purchase. You can also take $10 off with code: SWEETSOUTHERNPREP.
After last week’s Lulu post, I had a lot of y’all ask about the difference in my two favorite shorts. The top is the Hotty Hot Short and the bottom is the Speed Up Short. I love both, but you can see that they’re both a little different. I wear the same size in both shorts. It’s hard to say which of these two is my favorite. If you’re trying to decide on color and it’s your first pair, I always say go for the black first. They go with everything. If you want them to fit a little longer, they have this longer style too.
Hope y’all are having a great week so far!

Me too! I have 4 as well (I love seeing families of 6!) 3 boys ; 1 girl. 4th grade, 3rd grade, kindergarten and pre-K. And I am soaking up as much as I can before we get back to school and sports every night of the week.
I will say that you have inspired me to play tennis. Bought a couple rackets Saturday. I’m super excited to give it a try. 41 is not too old to start, right? Lol. Your mom was older when she started but not that old lol.
Oh you’ll love it! The best sport! And it’s so easy to burn a lot of calories without even realizing it. Have fun and good luck!
