Monthly OOTD Round-Up: June 2016

It’s July!  Sharing a recap of my outfits from June with you today!
Enjoy!

Top (on sale, was $218, now $87; it runs big, but I still love it in a small) // Cutoffs (mine are Rag & Bone from last summer, this pair is the new version for this summer) // Sandals (this color has sold out, but I have these new pink ones and love them) // Sunnies
Tassel Cover-Up (I’m wearing a small.  I’ve been waiting for this color combo to come out!)
I absolutely adore this new Lilly Pulitzer Ali Dress (also available here).  First off, it’s under $100 and next, it’s so comfy I feel like I’m wearing pajamas.  Add to the fact that I’m loving this print this season and the length hits at the perfect spot, I’m clearly sold! // Sandals (true to size) // Pink Bracelet // Aqua Bracelet
Elsa Top (true to size, I’m wearing a small) // Shorts (on sale) // Sunglasses // Wheeler’s Dress
Essie Navy Sleeveless Dress (absolutely LOVE this dress; I’m clearly on a cotton dress kick lately, but in this heat, it’s the most comfortable, cool thing to toss on!) // Fringe Crossbody // Sandals (a new light pink color, true to size) // Essie Polish is Marshmallow
Just got this pink bikini top and love it!  It’s got a little padding and the color is beautiful.  Effie’s still loving her flamingo bikini too. // Sunnies

My ‘I Am Fun’ beach towel sold out pretty quickly last time, but it’s currently back in stock!
Lilly Pulitzer Essie Dress (I already have this in the navy version, but love this Lilly print too.  These dresses really are perfect for summer.  Super comfy, just toss on and go; a great length too!) // Gold Jacks // Crossbody // Essie Marshmallow Polish // Ring
I’ll tell you what, this Essie style may be the only kind I wear all summer!  Ha!  I have two of these tees from last year, but this year I just couldn’t help getting this pink one.  You may remember that I’m a fan of the dresses, but the tees are just as great!  Paired it with this necklace and denim cutoffs.  My shorts are from last year, but these are this year’s version.
Rosé Parté Tee (on sale for $23) // White Embroidered Knit Shorts (super soft and on sale for only $11.40) // Steve Madden Sandals (on sale for $49.97; these run true to size) // Kate Spade Crossbody (unfortunately the neon pink has already sold out, but it’s still available in this similar style in white, black, red and blue; loving this pink crossbody too)
In my cozy pajamas too.  I’ve seriously worn this sweatshirt every single day this past week.  It’s the perfect amount of worn-in, just how I like my sweatshirts.  Found it on sale here.  Paired it with my cocktail pajama pants.
Loving my new bikini top and my cute pineapple cup too.
Striped Top (with a subtle peplum bottom) // I’ve been loving the peplum trend, but every one I’ve tried on is too short for my style.  This one isn’t and it’s part of the reason I love it!  Paired with denim cutoffs, my new sandals (on sale, true to size) and my white rice beads necklace.  It’s super versatile too.  Dress it up for a summer night out with jeans or dark shorts, with a pair of wedge sandals.
Dress // Wedges // Clutch // Ring // Sunnies (sold out, similar here)
Got these new sunnies last week.  They’re so fun!  I’ve been searching for a pair with gold lens.  Paired it with my rice beads necklace and Lilly Pulitzer Melle Dress (also available here).
Striped Swing Tank (on sale for $20!) // Cutoff Shorts (old, very similar here) // Flip Flops // Gigi New York Madison Crossbody in Blush (a light pink, now on sale!) // Ring
We had a dinner date last night with friends and enjoyed a yummy surf and turf meal.  Still dreaming about it!  Got to wear my new Elsa Top in You Gotta Regatta.  This is a pop-up print at Lilly, so when it’s gone, it’s gone.  It’s already sold out in a few sizes.  For reference, I’m wearing a small.  My pink lipstick is one of my new favorites, Smashbox Talk to Me Matte.  And these new wine glasses are so fun!
Yesterday, I wore my new Mara Hoffman Button Down Tank Top I got from her BIG SALE that’s going on this week.  It’s currently available in all sizes, from $176 to $123.  I’m wearing a small. // Sandals // Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace in Magenta
It’s Friday!  The children are all attending the same camp next week, so I’ll have lots of “me time” on my hands.  My mind is reeling with what all I need to get accomplished for the five days they’ll be there.  I had anticipated on cleaning out my garage, but we knocked that out a few weekends ago, so it’ll probably be more cleaning out and organizing.  So many drawers and closets are cluttered, and I’ve been putting it off for far too long, mostly because well, it’s summer, and all I want to do is play with the kiddos.  So while they’re not here, having their own fun, I’m set on knocking out much of my to-do list around the house.  Exciting I know, but in the end, it has to be done.  Until Monday though, we’ll be enjoying our weekend.  Hope y’all plan on doing the same!
Also, I had some of you ask for my birth stories of my four.  I’ll try and find the details of each for you, and share them soon!
I know this OOTD isn’t from June, but I posted it yesterday on Instagram and had a few of you without @liketoknow.it request details.  Here you go…
Told you I can’t get enough of my Essie dresses! // Sunnies (sold out, similar here and at a lower price point here) // Necklaces (my white one is currently only available in stores, but I’m loving this blue and yellow one (both only $35), and this blue tassels one (only $25!))
TGIF, Y’all!

  1. Great review of you OOTD for the month. I'm craving those clay pink TB Millers but you likely knew that.

Have a great weekend, thanks for sharing your outfits

  2. Hi Ashley! Love your blog! Does the Essie dress run sizing wise like the shirt? They look so comfortable for the SC heat!!

Also, any tips on packing and flying with four small kids? My husband and I are about to travel with our four 6 to 6 months, and any advice would be awesome!! Rebecca

    1. Yes, the Essie dress does. Wow! That's a lot of kiddos to fly with! Good luck! I've never flown with mine. I'd definitely recommend lots of snacks and drinks and a DVD player so the older ones can watch a movie on the flight!
