I hope y’all had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. The hubs and I headed to the Well Fargo golf tournament on Saturday, and the weather was perfect! We had the best time relaxing and watching some great golf. On Sunday, we headed over to my parents for lunch, and had paninis on my mom’s new panini maker. They were delicious – basil, tomatoes, salami and cheese! She also made these yummy Nutella crescent rolls for dessert that were to die for! I think I had one too many, but I couldn’t resist! To top it all off, we had the in-laws over last night and served ribs, twice baked potatoes and salad, and ended it with lemon meringue pie. To say I was stuffed by the end of the evening is an understatement. W and I made these for the mothers yesterday, and they were a hit! W especially enjoyed getting her hands in the dough, and mixing it up.
Here’s the simple recipe, in case you’re interested in trying them yourself. We added the pink icing and later, the yellow sprinkles, as our original touch. 🙂
