Happy Saturday! Hope y’all are having a great weekend so far! We celebrated Lanier’s birthday last night, and had the best time! Can’t believe we’ve been celebrating his birthday together for 19 years!
These cupcakes were delicious! My favorites were the piña colada (the one with the cherry, complete with a little rum) and the salted caramel (in the middle).
Love how much my new silver Millers (on sale, true to size) match my outfit. I’m always looking for shoes to go with grey, and these are perfect! Ruffle top (true to size) and my waves, thanks to this new curler!
Love the fit on my ruffle top so much, I’m considering this colorful one too. In love with J.Crew newest arrivals. I’d say it has me excited for cooler weather, but seeing as that won’t happen for another month or two in Charleston, I’m thinking of ways to wear these pieces now and layered under things later in the season.

Must Address This
So on yesterday’s post, I noted under one of my swing dresses that it was “bump approved.” I’ve had emails, comments, etc. asking if I was pregnant. The answer is no. Haha. I obviously didn’t realize when I wrote it that I was insinuating that I was pregnant. I have some readers and friends that are expecting, and always ask whether some of my swing dresses could fit a baby bump under it. So there you have it. Not pregnant. Interesting Fact: While I’ve been blogging for over six years, I kept Logan and Vaughn’s pregnancies private. Until they were born and I could share the good news, I kept it under wraps. I also used to refer to my children as their first initials for the first four years of blogging, then went public with their actual names in June 2014.
Some of you have been requesting that I do a Q&A post. Many of you have been following me for quite some time, but others are new readers and want to know a little bit more about me. I’m hoping to set that post up soon! As for my ‘How I Do It’ series that I used to write, I’m considering bringing that back too. I know many of you that are begging me to bring it back. Lots of updates coming soon…including my actual blog. Trust me, it won’t be a huge difference, just working on creating a more user-friendly, mobile-friendly site.
The boys were in major need of haircuts.
Finally took them in and got them cleaned up. I went a little shorter this time and feel like they look so much older now!
When I posted this pic yesterday, many of you wanted more details on my pink top. It’s Lilly, but unfortunately won’t be part of Lilly’s sale. It runs a little small, I’m wearing a medium.
These new sunnies I ordered after posting them in this ‘Loving Lately’ post, and I love them. Can’t wait to wear them all fall.
Speaking of another score from my latest ‘Loving Lately’ post, meet these clogs. After getting them in yesterday and trying them on, I was ecstatic at how well they fit! They remind me so much of the tan ones I wore all last fall/winter. Honestly love them so much, I’m already considering ordering them in another color too. For fit, I went up a half-size. I’m an 8.5 and got a 9 in these.

Hi! Quick question on the Miller Sandals. I ordered my first pair during the Tory sale. I am usually a 7, but can go either a 6.5 or 7.5 depending on the shoe brand. I have one other Tory sandal in a different style that is a 7.5 (recommended to size up) and they fit great. On the Miller's that just came in, I also ordered a 7.5, and there is some room at the top of the shoe (under the big medallion). Is that normal for this shoe or did I order too big. Thanks! 🙂
Okay, I have to know HOW you kept your pregnancies a secret? I tried to peek at your archives but I couldn't find them. I'm guessing you didn't do daily outfit pictures then?? Also, I'm curious why you chose to keep it a secret until they were here and why you decided to go to using their real names? I'm just curious (or nosy!).
