We had the best time at Wild Dunes. Â One of the afternoons, we attended an iron working class and made bottle openers. Â Local artisan, James Irving was pretty adamant about us doing it all by ourselves, so the hammering and twisting was all me. Â He was a great instructor!
It was 2400 degrees in the forge (kiln).
The final product…monogram and all! Â If you’re interested in attending this class while you’re vacationing at Wild Dunes, it’s called ‘Playing with Fire’ and you can choose to create a rose, an oyster shucker, a bottle opener or fire poker. Â Head over here to book your class online.
What I Wore
Top (Some of you asked if this top was see-through; the answer is yes, it is. Super lightweight for a warm day, which I loved. Â I wore a white sports bra under mine, but you could totally wear a white cami too and it would be so cute!) // Shorts // Purse // Sandals // Sunnies
I also got to enjoy a tennis lesson while we were there. Â This is always my absolute favorite whenever we vacation at Wild Dunes! Â Growing up, we used to take clinics here all the time. Â Love this resort for its tennis amenities so much!
What I Wore
Dress (currently on sale) // Shoes // Bag // Sunnies
The cutest buddies!
Cheers!
Panthers had a big win yesterday! Â Wore this tank to cheer them on!
It was October 1st yesterday and we still went to a friend’s birthday at the POOL! Â It was a little cold, but the kids didn’t mind at all!
You know it’s a good weekend when you end it with the ice cream truck!
Finally, I’ll leave you with this look. Â Love the color of this cardigan and love how well it’s made! // Paired it with this striped top (only $19!), these jeans (on sale!) and these wedges. Â These shoes are becoming a favorite and they’re so popular they’ve already sold out completely at Nordstrom, but are still available in all sizes here. Â They fit true to size and no breaking in necessary.
I hope y’all had a great weekend! Â The weather here has dropped at least ten degrees the past two days and it finally feels like Fall! Â Not sure it’ll stick around too long, but we’re sure enjoying it while it lasts!
What size on the Panthers tank? Thanks girl!
I went with a medium. It’s a tad big and probably could’ve done a small. Hope it shrinks a little in the wash!
Hi Ashley,
I just adore your website! It’s such a highlight of my day! Would you mind sharing how you styled Wheeler’s hair? That little knot in back is adorable and is really something fun compared to a typical bun. I think it would look great in my daughter Maggie’s long hair! Also where is Wheeler’s dress from? Thank you!
Thank you so much, Samantha! It’s pretty simple how I fixed her hair, but it’s hard to explain. I’ll try and post a hair tutorial soon. Wheeler’s dress is an oldie but goodie from Mini Boden. 😉
Thank you Ashley!
