I hope y’all had a great time this weekend, and hopefully dodged all of the crazy weather, especially around the south and mid-west. We were in southern Georgia, visiting my husband’s grandmothers, so thankfully we completely missed the bad weather. We came home to a blinking microwave and oven clock, so we figured the power went out at some point, but I don’t think it was out long. Our Egg survived the storms, and here’s the final product.
The hubs actually completed building and staining the stand last Tuesday, so we enjoyed our first steaks on Thursday night. They were so delicious! He absolutely LOVES his new “baby”. I know many of you said you were considering buying one, well I definitely think you should look into it. We grilled chicken on it tonight, and are going to smoke a pork butt this Friday night. Another plus about having a grill, in general, less mess in the kitchen! 🙂

Last week, W had her Easter party at school. They had an Easter Egg Hunt, and then cupcakes and dancing, after lunch. E and I had a great time visiting her class, and I think W enjoyed our company, too. 🙂
Later that evening, the hubs and I took the girls to Disney presents Mickey Mouse’s Magic Show. We aren’t usually big on going to events like this, but the tickets kind of fell in our laps at the last minute (Thank you, Gina!), so we thought we’d try it out. We were a little hesitant to bring E along, as she is a bit young, but I think she had just as much fun as her older sister. After the Yo Gabba Gabba concert last October (where W clung to me the entire time, see post here), we weren’t sure how W would react to this one, but she sat in her own seat the entire time, and laughed and clapped and yelled “Abracadabra!” as loud as the rest of them. She still talks about how cool the smoke and fire were at the show…oh, and her favorite, Snow White, was there too. My husband said looking at W when Snow White came on stage was like seeing a woman praising at an evangelical event. Hallelujah! We’ll definitely be more interested in attending more shows after this experience.
I hope y’all have a great start to your week. We’ve got our playgroup coming over to play in the backyard and hang out today. Should be a great time! Taking advantage of this wonderful weather, before it changes!
I don`t know what I would do without a grill in the summer. It's definitely a must and saves from having a heated up kitchen. Loving the pictures of the girls! Their outfits are always too cute!

Looks like a fun weekend! The Green Egg seems like such a great gift…hmmm! Bret's b'day is in May and then with Father's Day in June, maybe a combined holiday gift is in order! Your girls are adorable, as always!
XO
the girls are SO adorable!
W & E look precious!!! Those pictures make me miss y'all so much. Can't wait to see you soon! 🙂
We went to our local Ace last week to check out the egg. We are getting it for sure. One question, did you buy the stand and stain it yourself or did it come that way? At our hardware store, you buy the stand unstained and do it yourself. If I can find one ready to go, that's what I'd like.
Girls look adorable as usual.
P.S. Miss your sister!
what cuties your daughters are!!
Green Eggs are the greatest! My parents have one and I'm insanely jealous.
Your little girls are adorable!
We all have the Egg and we LOVE it.
Fun weekend! Love the girls Easter dresses!
If you have a chance head over today and enter to win one of the girls a turtleBug! These dolls are too cute!!
