Celebrated last Thursday with a fun cocktail to cheers an awesome USTA Fall season. I played #1 singles on my team and was *almost* undefeated. The only time I lost was my first match of the season. Our greatest accomplishment was defeating the undefeated team for our last match of the season. Such a great time, as always! Also, I posted about the Mississippi Kickin’ cocktail here from Butcher& Bee a few weeks ago, and when I went back, it was off the menu. They changed the menu just last week, so I tried the Gin & Juice and it was just as delicious.
Gin & Juice
Hat Trick Gin
Muscadine Syrup
Mint
Soda
Cheers!
Incredible burger and fries, after their pita and hummus app (one of my faves!).
Last Thursday, a bunch of our friends got together to celebrate Effie and Frances Moon’s birthday, since their birthdays are so close together. They had the best time! Effie and Sterling are inseparable. They already talk about their wedding festivities.
Wearing this Define Jacket and these Shorts. I got the girls tutus and boas from a local store here called Princess of Tides.
I ventured into Target on Friday morning. Seriously haven’t been in over a year, but I wanted to browse the kids section to get some early Christmas shopping knocked out. I was thrilled to see that they brought back so many oldies but goodies. // Sno-Cone Machine // Easy Bake Oven // Stretch Armstrong // Lincoln Logs
On Saturday, we drove to Greenville, SC for my cousin’s wedding. What I wore for the car ride: Purple Sweater (the softest top!) // Pineapple Sandals
Head back to this post for details on what I wore.
The beautiful bride and her new husband!
My kids had the BEST time! Like the next night, Effie said she wished she could go to a wedding every night.
My aunt on the left (my mom’s sister) and my mom on the right.
Eating the cake.
My dad (Grandaddy) with Vaughn.
My brother-in-law dancing with the kiddos.
All my sisters and their husbands. We switch every year for the holidays, so we won’t be with them this Thanksgiving. So happy we got to hang with them right before though! So very blessed!
The kids didn’t have school this entire week, so I asked them what they wanted to do on their days off. The first day they wanted to go to the aquarium and then to Waffle House of all places. // Vest (now 40% off with code: HOLIDAY) // Dress // Studs
All the Lego exhibits had Santa hats on. It was too cute!
We had to make a quick pit stop over at the pediatrician for Vaughn’s check-up. We can pretend that they sat like this the whole time. Ha. It was his four-year check-up which meant lots of shots. Poor buddy.
Waffle House!
On Tuesday night we hosted an oyster roast with neighbors for a “Friendsgiving.” The turn-out was awesome, and all the kids had a great time! We’re so lucky to live where we live!
Sadly, I didn’t take too many pics, but I guess that meant we were having a fun time. But I did snap this one of one of my friend’s yummy sides she brought.
And this one of some leftover oysters.
What I Wore
Striped Turtleneck (y’all I love this oversized turtleneck so much, it’s such a great weight; I’ve already ordered it in the other stripe colors too; I’m wearing a small; it’s currently 40% off with code: HOLIDAY, only $27) // Necklace (this is the one I featured in another outfit here; it’s currently 40% off with code: HOLIDAY too (only $23)) // Jeans // Boots // Lips are Fireball Matte
I hope y’all have a very Happy Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful this year, and every year!
“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34
What a fun week- love all of the pictures from the wedding! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Ashley!
