Happy Memorial Day! I hope many of y’all are enjoying an extra day off. My girls’ last day of school is on Thursday. Still can’t believe it’s already the end of the school year. I’m hoping to take time today to get a new summer schedule figured out. I really want to get back to running again on a regular basis. When I do it now, I haven’t been consistent with it and it’s usually been when the kids were in school. Well, come Friday morning I won’t have that time to do it. I’ll probably go back to early morning runs again, but whatever it is, I’ve got to get back to a schedule and stay motivated to keep it up. It’s just so easy to turn off the alarm and roll over and sleep just a little while longer. But in the end, I know I need to do it. My day starts off so much better when my run is knocked out early, and I’m not spending the rest of the day trying to decide when I’ll be able to fit it in. Plus, I’m prone to eating unhealthy, when my run is postponed until later in the day.
