Wheeler turned 6 on Wednesday. Still cannot believe she’s that old! We asked her what she wanted to eat on her birthday and she requested a low country boil – she’s a big fan of shrimp. We’re saving her party for a later date this month, so Wednesday was all about celebrating with just family. Effie also kept saying Wheeler wasn’t REALLY 6 yet. I think she expected her to look different than the day before.
I’m sure you noticed the round stickers everyone is wearing. Wheeler had each attendee sign their name on a piece of paper, and then gave them a Frozen sticker.
This is the current state of our garage/shed. We’re enclosing it to make it an entertainment room. Definitely still a work in progress.
All in all, we had a great time! I know it’s an oxymoron but Wheeler wanted to have a Frozen Birthday Party at the pool, weather permitting. That’ll happen in a few weeks and I’ll be sure and share pics with you.
Yesterday morning, enjoying some of her new presents. This waitress one is by Melissa & Doug.
And sharing this Hair Stylist one with Effie.
Lanier was out of town last night on a business trip, so I took the time to check out a chick flick, paint my nails and online shop. Slippers // Pajama Set // Sweatshirt
Looks like she had a great birthday! I feel like I can see their personalities shine threw even more now that I know their names. And how awesome that she wanted a low country boil!
You and your family are seriously so beautiful!
You have the sweetest fam! I love that the girls are so close!
she is adorable and you look gorgeous!
I'm loving your waves. Walk us through your hair styling!
I love your blog and have been a loyal reader for years now! Did y'all happen to move? I just noticed your garage/shed and didn't recall you talking about it before…Or maybe you did and you mentioned it and I missed it!
Hi Courtney! We haven't moved. The garage/shed has always been at the end of our driveway, and we never used it, so I never talked about it. We've been here over eight years and I can't believe it's taken us this long to realize we could do something better with it. So far it has doors and is completely enclosed. I'm hoping the floors are the next thing that gets tackled. Thanks so much for reading! xoxo, Ashley
I love Wheeler's family party! What a great idea. That Calita dress is gorgeous. I am still hemming and hawing over picking up that leopard purse that you have from TB. Is it too early to buy it as a Christmas gift for myself 😉 I totally do the same thing when the hubs is out of town. As much of a pain in the butt it is to not have the extra set of hands I always enjoy getting to watch a chick flick with wine and dessert! Have a great weekend!
