Fall Make-Up Faves + Lululemon Pop-Up Shop

Happy Tuesday!  Thank y’all so much for all the feedback yesterday!  I’m so glad you’re excited about my ‘How I Do It’ posts making a comeback.  I appreciate all of your comments and emails so much.  I truly take each to heart!  I know some of you emailed saying you loved them, but still always love my fashion and style posts just as much.  Don’t worry, I won’t be leaving those posts out any time soon.  I just wanted to incorporate the series again, and they’ll be solely posted on Mondays.  For those who may be newer readers, you can always click on my ‘Whereabouts’ and it’ll take you to all of my posts about our happenings and what we’ve been up to each week.  And yes, I clearly love to take pictures.  Always have, always will.

Alright, so for today’s post I wanted to share my favorite make-up for fall.  After wearing this outfit, it really reminded me of some great hues that I love in these colors for the season. // Can we talk about this outfit for a sec?  These shoes are way less expensive than the $295 Loeffler Randall ones and they’re just as pretty and comfy.  For fit, they’re true to size.  Paired them with these jeans, this crossbody and this Split Back Turtleneck in plum.  It also comes in black, burnt orange, white, and stone.  It’s got a little swing, but not too much, and I just love it!  Seriously thinking about ordering another color.

YSL Lip Stain (I’m so used to wearing matte lip colors nowawadays, that I’ve forgotten all about my glossy lip collection.  These lip stains are super shiny and seriously stay on forever.  Love #32 and #33 for fall.) // YSL Concealer (No matter the  season, I will always use this to cover up my dark spots and problem areas.) // Chanel Nail in Vamp (When  I was in college, this color used to be so popular that they’d sell out of it so fast, well it’s currently available and still a favorite; for a lower price point, try this Wicked color) // `While I still love my go-to Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder, I also love to use the Shimmer Brick in the fall/winter for a pretty glow // Diorshow Overcurl (Some of you have asked recently about my eyelashes, they are seriously so stick straight you wouldn’t believe it, but with a little eyelash curler and this mascara, it works wonders) // To dress up your make-up add this shimmery gold eyeshadow (for a lower price point, try this Goldmine color) // Bobbi Brown ‘Everything Eyes’ Palette (I purchased this set a few months ago and have really enjoyed using it. Everything’s in one place and it’s super easy for traveling too)

I had a request for what hairbrush I use, and this one is the only I’ve used.  Going on about ten years now.  Just had to replace it because I lost it, but it’s never let me down.

So yesterday, one of my friends Andrea invited a bunch of us out to take a bootcamp class.  It definitely did its job.  Afterward, I was wiped!  But I love those kind of work-outs!  In the same studio they had a Lululemon Pop-Up Shop and I couldn’t have been happier.  If you’re in the area, today’s the last day of the pop-up located in the Mount Pleasant Towne Center.  Lululemon currently has a store downtown on King Street, but I’m really hoping this pop-up will help them garner some interest in opening up a place away from downtown too.  So much better for parking, maybe not so much better for my wallet.

I walked out with this top (on sale, not many sizes left) and this jacket.

The shorts I’m wearing in the photo above from yesterday are the Speed Shorts (and they’re on sale!).  They’re my absolute favorite for running.  My most recent pair I’m loving is in this print above.  I’m actually planning on wearing them today for my tennis match.  Wish me luck!
