Effie’s theater troupe performed Matilda Jr. at Queen Street Playhouse this weekend and it was amazing! They had three sold out shows on Saturday and two more on Sunday! Truly hard to believe they put all of it together in just TWO WEEKS.

When the children performed ‘When I Grow Up’ they had a screen that showed all of their baby photos. There’s sweet Effie!

After the first show, my parents came in town and we headed out to lunch at The Vendue Rooftop. The breeze up there was so nice. There was off and on rain for most of the day, but thankfully we timed everything just right.

She’s so thankful that both of her sets of grandparents came to watch her perform.
Effie always likes me to go to every performance, so while I was watching the third one, Wheeler walked around with my parents to different art galleries and visited The Battery.
Just like her mama, Wheeler tries to go to as many performances as she can. She’ll go to both of them on Sunday. Such a sweet supportive sister.
The icing on the cake this weekend for Wheeler was getting to meet her newest niece, Georgia Mae. The oldest granddaughter with the youngest. #1 and #17.
Can you tell Effie’s loving life in theater? Just so happy that she’s found her true passion. We just found out her troupe will be performing Anastasia this November and Mean Girls in May. Can’t wait!
