We made it to Maine! We stayed in the neatest little cottage in Southwest Harbor for five days and four nights. It’s been almost 20 years since I visited Maine and ever since then, I’ve always said I’d want to take Lanier and my kids back here one day.
The temps were in the 50s each night, so we made ourselves lots of fires.
The first full day we were there was the only day we had rain and that was thankfully after we visited Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse that morning.
Effie and Vaughn found lots of cool crabs when we visited this area.
Just as beautiful as I remembered it.
