Bahamas Trip: Part One

Sometimes a fun girl’s trip is just good for the soul!  And this time, our destination was the Bahamas.  Cannot even begin to describe what an awesome trip it was.  A much-needed break!

How beautiful was the view from my bedroom window?  It was hard to leave this on our last day.

As soon as we could drop our bags in our rooms, we poured little glasses to cheers all the birthday girls that were being celebrated on this trip!

No filter.

The birthday girl, Christina (on the left) found our little AirBNB and we absolutely LOVED it!

Wore this top that I’ve worn a few times now.  These sunnies, this crossbody and these earrings.

We headed out to Studio Cafe for our first meal.  I was starving!

This burger with gouda cheese hit the spot!

Check out the view at this place!

We loved it so much that we tried to go back the next day, but it was closed.  Island time, I guess.

As soon as we got back, we changed into swimsuits and coverups.  How pretty are these beaded bracelets?  Use code: SWEETSOUTHERNPREP at check-out to take 20% off your entire purchase.

Wore this coverup and absolutely LOVED it!  I have it in a few colors and loved that they came out with this pretty blue this season. // Sunnies // Flip Flops

Love this bikini top and bottom so much, that I may get the pink one too. // Sunnies (found a pair on sale here) // Bracelets

Dressed and ready to celebrate the birthday girl!

Baha Mar is relatively new and super close to where we stayed, so it was fun to go there at night.  Many of y’all told me the housewives of Beverly Hills went here.  I don’t watch the show, so I had no clue.

The rooftop area at Baha Mar was my favorite.

Wore this cute dress.  I decided not to take these particular wedges when I packed because I thought the white would get messed up in my suitcase.  So I ended up bringing these wedges instead.  Proud to say I only packed a carry-on and my crossbody for the trip!

I hope y’all have an awesome weekend!  With this weekend being the ending of our spring break, we made plans to have our friends from Charlotte come in town and stay with us.  So excited it’ll be warm enough for a boat day tomorrow!  It’s been far too long since we’ve taken it out!

TGIF, Y’all!
