A White Summery Top for the Win + An OOTN + Recent Summer Favorites

 

Last night, Lanier and I headed out for a date night.  We went to The Darling Oyster Bar for dinner (super delicious, by the way!), then met some friends at Stars on the rooftop and then went to hear Robert Earl Keen play.  Right before picking up the kids at camp yesterday, I stopped in our Anthropologie and scooped up this white tank.  In the pic with Lanier, it makes it look like my cutoffs are majorly short.  They really aren’t.  I think it was the way I was leaning or something.  Anyway, back to the top.  It’s perfect for this summer heat.  It’s pretty billowy which I love.  And like I’ve mentioned before, I love a subtle peplum.  If it was a little cooler, I would’ve paired it with jeans.  While it does run a little big, for sizing, I still went with my usual small.  Can’t wait to wear it again!  Also, right now, Anthropologie has a promo where if you spend $150, you can take $25 off.  Use code: !YAY! at check-out.

I can’t believe it’s already Friday!  What a week it’s been!  The kids have loved camp this week and are kind of sad that it’s their last day.  Next week, we’re finally in town.  No one has camp.  We’ll most likely pool it up every single day…and I can’t wait!
