On Friday morning, I headed over to the new Dry Bar that just opened up here on King Street. These little cupcakes from Sugar Bake Shop were heavenly!
I’ve never been to a dry bar before, so this was a fun experience. They had a little book you could flip through and pick out which style you wanted. I went for the Cosmo.
It was fun getting pampered for the weekend!
Ice Cream Date with the girls.
After a fun adult day with friends on the boat on Saturday, that night it was crawfish and tacos. Lanier and I counted this as our early Valentine’s date.
Logan had his class bear “Weekend Bear” over the weekend. He loved taking him around with him everywhere we went. His major request was Waffle House in his pjs.
On Sunday, we took the kids out to the beach. Effie met this little puppy and did not want to give him back.
The kids were channeling Swiss Family Robinson and made this booby trap to catch a tiger.

Wheeler has been asking for a desk for a few months now. Her new one arrived on Monday and she absolutely loves it!
I explained it in more detail on yesterday’s post, but after our crazy morning, thankfully things only got better for Valentine’s Day.
Top (only $19.99; true to size) // Shorts (So these are the ones I posted about yesterday. They are definitely thinner than in season’s past, but I still really like them; fit is true to size. You can see the pockets a little, but I guess I wear my tops long enough that you can’t tell that much.) // Flip Flops // Sunnies // Necklace (light pink is out of stock, pre-order the magenta one here)
Meet my new bag for Spring! Love that it’s a crossbody too!
Here’s a close-up of the magenta color. In love! I’ll let you know when the light pink is restocked.
Hope y’all are having a great week so far!
