Wednesday Whereabouts: Summer Lovin’ + Shopbop Sale

This past Friday we went to visit my grandfather for the day to celebrate his 88th birthday!  All the kids were worn out.  Can you tell?  I love how sweet Logan is, so comfortable in my grandfather’s arms. // My Top & Shorts (sold out, but I love this classic green color for Fall)
That night, Lanier watched the boys while my girlfriend and I took the oldest ones out for dinner and an event over at Barnes & Nobles called Cool Off, with Olaf.
You knew I had to wear one of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer Elsa Tops to fit the theme.
Sold out print, but I LOVE this one for Fall.
The girls loved it.  They made wands, built castles, colored pictures, created their own snow clouds, etc., but their favorite part was meeting Elsa.  And even better?  This Elsa could sing.  If you follow me on Instagram I’m sure you caught the clip I posted of her singing Let It Go.  My girls were in awe.
Can’t believe sweet Boozer’s almost 9 years old!
The children love this new treasure chest that I got at Target.  You dive for the coins and put them in the slot.
Tank // Shorts (color sold out, but I just ordered these for Fall) // Sandals // Bracelet // Watch // Necklace
On Monday morning, the kids and I headed over to a friend’s house for a playdate.  Our group has been having playdates ever since Wheeler was about three months old.  While we used to have them every single Friday morning, life has just become too busy and sadly we don’t have them as often.  But when we do, we all have the best time!  I can’t believe how many kiddos are in our little clan now, and in such a short amount of time.  To think it all started with just four babies.
My mom brought over a tank of about ten tadpoles at the beginning of July.  We had no idea they’d take so long to turn into frogs, but lo and behold, on Monday evening, we checked the tank and they had all formed into tiny frogs.  It was the coolest thing!  We opened the tank and let them all jump out and escape, although I’m kind of wishing now we’d have saved one or two for pets.
Wheeler was so excited to finally get to bring her Barbie Pool she got for her birthday out to the big pool.
As I said on Sunday’s post, the girls have definitely been working on their cannonballs.
I think their practice has paid off!
Effie’s Swimsuit has now been marked down to only $14.98.
These kicks have been on major repeat this summer:  Vaughn’s Navy // Effie’s Hello Kitty // Wheeler’s Silver Sparkle (Logan was already wearing his red ones.)
A few sale reminders…
Shopbop just marked down a lot of new items.  Some of my new favorites are featured below…

Also, some great deals on shoes.  Lots of K. Jacques Sandals on sale.
For fit, I’m an 8.5 and have a pair in a size 39.

This Tibi Top I wore above, with these sandals (go down a size) and this clutch, is also available during the sale.  Only a few sizes left in this top.  Go down a size.
Serena & Lily’s Summer Sale is going on now.  Hurry though, the sale ends on Friday and lots of items are selling out quickly.  I ordered two of these Rolling Storage Crates (the large one was previously $118, and now it’s only $41) and some Hanna Andersson Pajamas for the kids ($16, previously $46), so far.  There’s still so much I need to decide on before Friday.  In case you missed yesterday afternoon’s post, here are all my favorites…

I hope y’all have had a great week so far.  I’m seriously taking advantage of every sunny day, with as much pool time as we can handle!
Happy Wednesday, Y’all!

  1. Logan is so sweet snuggled up to your grandfather. They are all so cute! I have those storage bins in my cart but the $12 shipping is holding me back. Silly, I know! It's still a great price, even with the shipping. I guess Amazon prime and Nordstrom have spoiled me! I hate to pay for shipping.
