I hope y’all are having a great weekend so far! We leave this morning to head home to visit family, and I cannot wait! We’ll be there all week, so I’ve obviously got lots to pack! All five of my younger sisters and their children will be coming into town too. Cannot wait! Yesterday, I had a chance to clean out my closet and I know my sisters are already vying for who will get in town first to get dibs on going through all my loot.
So happy to have a new addition of this beautiful Belmont Cabin Bag to add to my luggage collection! To access this exact bag, go to Barrington Gifts main page, click on the ‘New Arrivals’ tab on the top left, when the drop down menu appears, click on ‘Create Your Own – Fall Fashion’ and you should seen it if you scroll down the page. My apologies the link isn’t more easily accessible!
If you’re searching for a gift for the hostess, even your mother or sister, these gifts I picked below would all be perfect!

Such a sweet personalized gift! Currently on sale!
On Thursday night, Lanier and I dined at 5Church, the new restaurant in town, that I mentioned on Thursday’s post.
The coolest thing is the ceiling. Just like the one in Charlotte, they commissioned John Norris to write an entire book on the ceiling, in both locations it’s Art of War by Sun Tzu. It took Norris about three months to finish the Charlotte ceiling.
Chocolate Pretzel with Gold Foil
Lemongrass Sorbet with homemade Fruity Pebbles and Meringues
This weekend, it’s now open to the public. We loved the food and cocktails, and the customer service was amazing! If you get a chance to visit, you must try the Viper cocktail, the Tuna Tartare, and any/all of the desserts! They were all so delicious! Our server Carrie was the best!
What I Wore
Silk Shirtdress (now 40% off, but it’s almost sold out; available here and here) // Heels (on sale, but not many sizes are left; order a half-size down) // Clutch (20% off with code: FRIENDS20) // Ring
A Few Things I’m Loving Lately
It’s no secret that I love Mara and all of her beautiful prints! But when I saw this one that debuted yesterday, I knew it would make a perfect little home in my closet. The colors are absolutely beautiful and this is my favorite style she designs. I know it’s fall and not the warmest of temps right now, but I plan to wear this now with a cardigan like this one or jacket and pair it with these heels or even booties. I have a feeling, like most of her pieces, that this one won’t last long!
Such a pretty color combo of this scarf. Would actually go so well with the cardigan below.
These cardigan fit so well, and I love tossing them over anything from a t-shirt to a dress. The buttons make the cardigan, and I’m especially loving this festive red color for the season.
I know I included this in the above gift guide, but wanted to reiterate that it truly is such a cool gift! It’s a great price point too, if you’re wanting to get something personalized, but want the gift to be a little more original. I decided to match my tote I already have, and my laptop fits perfectly in the case.
Just a reminder, if you ever need to refer back to a holiday gift guide I’ve previously posted, or may have missed one, be sure and check out my sidebar for a complete listing of all of my holiday gift guides. I’ll continue to add them to my sidebar as they’re created!
