We have been enjoying our Spring Break in bright and sunny Key West, Florida! We basically waited to decide where we were going last minute, until we had a better grasp on what the weather would be. Most places showed storms and others rain, so we kept looking further south until we decided on Key West. And it sure paid off! We’ve had beautiful weather and the kids are loving it! Any place where there’s a pool, they’re in heaven! Logan has woken up every morning, asking when we were going to the pool again. Today, we’re planning on visiting the beach which will give us a change in scenery.

Pit stop for lunch. It took about 14 hours to get to Key West from Charleston. We left around 1am on Saturday morning and the kids slept for the first half of the trip. The traffic didn’t get bad until the road narrowed as we hit the Florida Keys. The view was beautiful, so it wasn’t a bad drive. This was the first time we brought a DVD player in the car with us, and that made the drive so much easier.
When we arrived, the kids were wiped out so we didn’t plan much that day except to chill and unpack. That night, Lanier and the kids went to bed pretty early. I took advantage of the quiet evening and gave myself a mani/pedi with this new Essie Spring 2016 Color, Lounge Lover. Lunch with a view! I mentioned this Sunnylife Radio before. We used it all last summer by the pool, but we brought it with us and are so happy we did! Good music is always a must for us on vacation.

So fun to see y'all having fun! What is your favorite sunblock? Since I am a redhead, I burn easily. I am considering a spray tan because when we do go to the beach (which isn't often), my husband says everyone looks at us and says, "Where did the vampires come from?". LOL!!
I just use a Coppertone kind right now, but I'm constantly trying different ones. When I find the best one, I'll let you know. 😉 I use Vanicream on my face.
