Weekend Recap + What I Wore

We had such a fun Friday with some of my family coming in town!  Wearing these new sunnies.  Y’all, they’re only $12.99!  And I can’t quit my love for this dress!  At a lower price point, I love this one too.

Excited to run with my dad!  My sister that came into town was in a different corral.

This year it was a foggy run, but it felt great!

Post-race festivities!  Yes, I changed clothes.  I was so sweaty, wet and cold after the run!

That night there was an exhibition match at the Volvo Car Open.  Happy that the weather held out and we got to watch a great couple of matches.  Loved seeing Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt, Mats Wilander and Jim Courier play again.  Wore this dress!  Love it so much!  My denim jacket is old, but I found a similar one here, here and here.

The final day of matches at the Volvo Car Open!

On Sunday morning, Natalie and I went to the most beautiful gospel brunch before the final matches.

The amount of delicious food at this brunch was unbelievable.  If they have this again next year, I’ll definitely be back!

Loved hearing Andrew Krazny and Bethanie Sands Matteks have a fun little chat.  I sure hope she comes back to play soon.  Her most recent knee surgery was just a few weeks ago.

The Claflin University Choir was amazing!

Wore this dress that was perfect for the day!  A little swing and nice and breezy.  For fit, it’s true to size.  Paired it with these wedges and these sunnies.

This crossbody continues to be my fave!

With Tennis Channel host, Andrew Krazny and Bethanie Sands Matteks!  So entertaining!  Andrew has been emceeing this tournament since 2013.

Give me all the Tory Sport!

Having some fun with sweet Sterling and Frances Moon.

Cheers!

Congrats to Madison Keys for winning the tournament!  She played her heart out!

The Volvo Car Open almost always coincides with our Spring Break, so we’re usually traveling to the Keys or somewhere warmer.  We usually time our trip just right and can make it back for the bridge run, but not the tennis matches.  Well, this year because Easter is so late this year, they made our Spring Break a lot earlier in the season.  So it all worked out and I was able to attend so many matches.  So thankful for that.  Not sure that will ever happen again, but I sure hope so!  It was a blast!

My favorite photo from an epic weekend!  Family, friends, running and tennis.  Love all of these things so much and to get to enjoy them all in one weekend makes me one very happy lady!  How sweet is this capture from The Post & Courier of my dad and I close to the finish line?  All smiles!

I hope y’all have a great start to your week!
