Thirsty Thursday: Strawberry Gin Fizz + Dress on Sale!

Made another tasty concoction that I can’t wait to share with y’all this week!  It’s called a Strawberry Gin Fizz and it’s delicious!  I’m obviously a big fan of gin, as you may have noticed from the past few Thirsty Thursdays.  I’ll share a different liquor next week, don’t worry. This one is just so refreshing!

Strawberry Gin Fizz

Yields 2 Drinks // Spun it off of this recipe.

What You’ll Need

6 strawberries

2tsp sugar

4 shots gin

pinch of salt

1/2 cup club soda (or whichever flavored carbonated water you’re in the mood for, I usually choose Perrier Pink Grapefruit)

Directions

Wash and dice strawberries very tiny.

Sprinkle sugar over the top of the strawberries.

Let strawberries sit for about 5 minutes.

Mash them with a fork to release the juices.

Fill a shaker with ice.

Add strawberry mixture, gin and a pinch of salt.

Shake, then divide between two glasses.

Top each glass with club soda (or flavored water) and squeeze a lime wedge into each glass.

I also add in a few extra larger cut up strawberries that sit on the bottom for a tasty treat when your cocktail is finished.

Cheers!

I’m always sharing my favorite Lilly styles with you and this Margot one has always been at the top of my list.  The fabric has almost a cool feel to it.  It’s hard to describe, but I just love it.  It’s lightweight, but not so light that it’ll wrinkle easily.  The back has a tie with tassels at the top too, but you can’t still wear a strapless bra with it.  For pear shapes, it has just the right amount of swingy A-line style.  It’s true to size.  Wearing a small.  Paired it here with these earrings.

How pretty are these glasses?  Art is by Kit Porter Studios.

I just love the color way of these glasses so much!

I get asked a lot if these earrings are heavy and they aren’t at all!

Blue Mercury is offering 10% off all curbside pick-up orders today!  I’m heading over to my local store to pick up a few things this morning.  I love so many of their products.  Sharing my faves lately…

Lune + Aster Hydrabright Concealer in Light – This covers blemishes so well!

Bobbi Brown Blush In Apricot – I swipe a tiny hint of this on the apples of my cheeks for a warmer glow.

RMS Beauty Luminizer X Quad – Love that you can blend these colors together or choose a color for highlighting parts of your face.

These gradual tan pads are awesome!  After you apply, it takes about three hours for you to see the full effect.  Not only do you glow from a subtle tan for the day, you’re also receiving lots of amazing skin benefits.

Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer – I know this lipstick costs a pretty penny, but it is my favorite color (Sweet Spot) for summer.  It’s just the right amount of color and also has added benefits like shea butter and Vitamin C and E.

RealGlow Bronzing Primer – If you’re wanting a glowing tan look, you will love this!  It goes on super easy and doesn’t feel heavy at all.

I’ve been using this Gua Sha for a few months now and just love it!

To check out more of my favorites from Blue Mercury, head back to this post.  Don’t forget that everything is 10% off today when you order curbside pickup.

The other day, I had to run a few quick errands.  The kids were eager to ride along.

Mask is from Shrimp & Grits Kids.  They make them for children also.

I always get the kids a special treat at the end of the school year.  Can you tell how excited Logan was about his Legos?

This dress is currently 50% off!  Wearing a small.  Use code: HELLOSUMMER.

Our matching Lilly dresses came in the other day!  Cannot wait to wear these with the girls!  Mine // Girls // You can still receive a free tumbler with every $100 spend while supplies last.  Some of you asked if they come with lids.  They do.  I also saw this midi dress that was just released too.  Love it so much.  I know I keep saying it, but I just love what Lilly has been coming out with lately!

Happy Thursday, Y’all!

If you try today’s cocktail, you’ll have to let me know how you like it!
