A lot of times when I’m searching for what kind of cocktail I want to make, I open the fridge and see what I’ve got to work with. This time I had strawberry AND basil, so I thought this margarita sounded super tasty. I may be making this one tonight, but if not today, definitely this weekend!
Strawberry Basil Margarita
(found it here)
4 ounces tequila
1 cup fresh strawberry slices
8 fresh basil leaves
2 ounces fresh lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
1 tray of ice cubes
For Garnish (optional)
coarse sugar for rim (I’ll probably use salt)
2 sprigs fresh basil
Place all the ingredients into a blender.
Blend until ice is crushed and ingredients are well combined.
Pour into two sugar-rimmed (or salt-rimmed) margarita glasses.
Garnish with a fresh basil sprig, if desired.
Cheers!
I guess you could say I’ve been channeling a boho prep/beachy vibe lately. I just love the way billowy tops and dresses feel. So free and easy.
I’ve had these distressed jeans since last summer and they’ve been marked down at Anthropologie. For fit, they’re true to size.
Since we’re talking denim, I’ve been searching for the perfect rolled denim shorts for the season. Well, after trying these AG Hailey Shorts on, I think I’ve found them! The color online makes them appear lighter than they are in person. Fit is true to size, and the length is great. Not too short and not too long. Also available here.
I hope y’all have an awesome day!
