Spring Break: Third Stop – Once On This Island + Other Randoms

After a few days in Charlotte, we returned home to attend Once On This Island at Dock Street Theatre.  It’s such a great show!  All four of mine enjoyed it.  For those who aren’t familiar with the story, it’s a Caribbean re-telling of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid.

Wearing this striped sweater.

We were especially excited to see one of Effie’s theater teachers in the performance!

Tennis has been going great this season!  And Logan’s team won their flag football division.  They play in their regional finals next week!

Dress // Sunnies // Earrings

This is one of my recent empties.  I asked y’all for recs on Instagram and these were your top three eye cream favorites…

Alastin // The Dime // Neocutis

I also asked if you thought Crest White Strips worked.  Some of y’all said yes, but many of you had better suggestions.  I ended up going with this kind.  It comes in today and I’ll definitely do a before and after.  Can’t wait to try them out.

Supergoop Glow Oil SPF 50 // Kopari Body Glow SPF 48

I had lots of questions last week.  Haha.  I got both of these and was curious if any of y’all had tried them and thought they worked.  And the overall answer was yes.  Thanks for the feedback.

Got in a great match the other day!  Tennis is the best workout!

It’s been over a year I feel like that the kids have lost teeth.  Logan lost one, of what the dentist said will be many coming up.

The Easter Bunny brought these little $26 tennis backpacks to the boys in their baskets.

I keep forgetting to introduce Smoke in our posts!

April 2023

Meet Smoke!  Our Blue Boston Terrier.  He’s a full bred Boston, but is grey in color with blue eyes and why he’s known as a Blue Boston.  Lanier surprised me with a photo of him on Christmas morning.  He’s always been terrible with keeping secrets and it was killing him not to tell me sooner.  But he’d known since he met the puppies in early December that we were getting one.  I was so surprised and so happy!  I never knew when the right time would be to introduce a new puppy into our lives after losing our beloved Boozer last summer.  But he’s been everything we’ve expected him to be.  And just like Boozer, is so well loved.  There are so many times that I see Boozer in him and it makes me smile.  But he’s different in many ways too.  We’re still not sure why his ears haven’t popped yet, not sure at this point that it’ll even happen.  He’s a little over four months now and they said after four months, their ears will probably remain however they are.  So we’ll see.  He’s still the cutest either way!  He was still too little for us to get him on Christmas, hence the photo and not the actual puppy.  But we’ve had him since mid-January and love him so very much!

Mid-February to Mid-April – Look at how much he’s grown in TWO MONTHS!
