Last Friday morning, like 12:30am early, we headed off for our Spring Break trip. Since we always head to the Keys, we know the traffic can be pretty bad, so we dodge the traffic as best we can by traveling in the early hours of the morning. We also stay somewhere on the way down for one night to break up the trip a little.
Loved wearing this dress for the car ride. Super comfy! For fit, I didn’t want it to be too fitted, so I sized up to a medium. // Sunnies

We stayed in Fort Lauderdale on the way down to the Keys and the kids loved getting to swim most of the day on Friday.
My coverup is old, but I found the same style here, just a different color/print. Wearing a small. The kids’ suits are from last summer, but in later posts from Spring Break I’ll share new ones. The ones the girls are wearing are from here.

Logan told Effie she looked like Wendy Peffercorn. We got a laugh out of that one. If you’re seen The Sandlot, you know.
We loved these chocolate! We’ll just say lots of Easter candy was consumed on this trip.
We went out to eat Mexican while we were in Fort Lauderdale. This cracked us up!
On Saturday, we arrived at Courtyard Marriott in Marathon, Florida. We usually travel down to Key West for Spring Break, but this year we wanted to try something different. We were supposed to go to Key Largo last Spring Break.
As far as whether it was crowded or not, it honestly depended on the time and day. Wheeler and Vaughn had the pool to themselves here. They also had two pools, so people could spread out more. Because of covid regulations, they didn’t have room service all week and no one was allowed to come into your room. So if you needed new towels or anything, you left them outside your door and they’d replace them.
Our first day here was a success! This was the view outside of our room. If we were back by sunset, we would get to watch it every night! I still have so much to share with y’all! Keep checking back all week, as I’ll continue to share more posts of our fun adventures!
