Stopped into Sweet Juleps for some sweet treats on Friday.
The girls and I had a girls’ night and went to dinner then headed over to James Island to watch a friend perform in their troupe’s Guys and Dolls.
At the last minute, I decided to do the bridge run on Saturday morning. I was nowhere prepared and not trained at all, but still went for it. It was a beautiful day and I always just love this race!
The funny thing is I always get excited and register for races right after I finish them because a lot of times it’s the least expensive time to register. So I guess I registered for it right after the race last year and totally forgot. So I got the packet in the mail a few weeks ago with my bib and started thinking about doing it.
So glad I did it!
They passed out all kinds of drinks after the race. I tried these too and loved the Celcius! It was delicious!

After the race, I got back and changed quickly so we make it to the Monster Jam. This was our first time going but everyone told us to wear ear plugs. So glad we did because it was LOUD!
We had the best time!
