My Birthday Weekend at The King & Prince

A few weekends ago, we stayed at The King and Prince for my birthday weekend.  Located on St. Simons in Georgia, it was the perfect place to celebrate!  Only a three hour drive from Charleston, but the atmosphere made it feel like we were in a whole other world.  Not to mention, the weather was perfect!  I’d planned this trip a few months before and never would have anticipated that the weather would be this amazing for mid-December!

The first night, we headed to Crab Daddy’s for dinner.  We were about to hop in the car when we realized it was only .2 miles away from where we were staying.

The girls wore these pretty red dresses and I wore this one.

Such a fun dinner!  Highly recommend.  Everything was so good!

Every morning, I looked forward to walking around the corner from where we were to visit The Cottage.  It was a cute little store for shopping, coffee, custard and pastries.

Wore this pullover most mornings – the coziest!  Wearing a small but probably could’ve even done an XS.

The Cottage also had a great play area complete with lawn games and a playhouse with a slide that my kids loved!

Their favorite treat of all was The Royal Feast bucket, full of ice cream and toppings!

While we were there, we stayed at The Hampton House on The King & Prince property.  It was perfect for us!  I didn’t know which place we were staying until the day of, but we definitely could’ve fit more families in here.  It’s a great spot for big families or a house with friends.  No ocean view, but it’s right around the corner.  And you’re still able to use all of the hotel’s amenities.

The water was a little chilly, but the pools were heated.  Plus, they had a hot tub that we frequented a lot too.

Not only are the bartenders the friendliest, they can concoct some amazing cocktails!  They used a habanero infused tequila for my spicy margarita, complete with a bacon salt rim!  Yum!

The pools were definitely their favorite part.  And this time of year, there were just a few other families that took advantage of the pool area.

Highly recommend their Bloody Mary bar on Sundays.  It’s bottomless until 3pm and basically a meal!  George prepares everything fresh that day.

My coverup and suit are both old, but my sunnies are from here.

We visited their oceanfront restaurant, ECHO a lot during our stay.  The food was phenomenal!

I enjoyed my birthday dinner there on Saturday night and it was amazing!

Of course Effie made a bestie while she was there!

Logan living his best life!  Cheers!

Such an awesome trip!  Highly recommend The King & Prince!  The kids are already asking when we can go back!

We also loved hearing all about their renovations when we met different people who have frequented this hotel for years.  It’s amazing how much they changed the interior.  They did a fabulous job with all of it!  Truly grateful to The King & Prince for letting us visit your beautiful hotel!
