Apparently, we skipped spring and headed straight into summer this week. It sounds like many of you are experiencing the same surge in heat. I’ve heard that some of you had 80-degree weather as far up as Boston. Needless to say, I’ve got summer on my mind, and this summery flamingo tee will be tossed on today, as we’re supposed to hit 77 today!
I absolutely love this summery gingham-print top, and ordered it today. Currently on sale for only $22.50. Cannot wait until it arrives! I’m planning on wearing mine with white cutoffs. Still on the hunt for those. I’ll keep you posted when I find a pair I like!
Another Old Navy favorite I ordered was this Swing Dress. This one will be perfect to toss on all summer long. It also comes in red and purple. Depending on how much I love this yellow one, I may go back and order more.
DVF just marked down lots of new items. If you’re a fan like myself, you should definitely check it out. I do have my favorite styles, like the Layla and Aria. Looks like most of the Laylas in prints I own have already sold out, but this Aria style above just got marked down, and it’s beautiful! Would be so easy to dress this one up, you will love the fit! It’s a little billowy and the length is perfect. I also love the subtle details like the sheerness on the sleeves and the the pretty detail on the neckline. It does run big, so make sure and order at least one size down. Currently available in all sizes. A classic, quality dress that you’ll wear for years and years to come.
I wore one of my go-to DVF dresses again just last night. We walked from drinks at a rooftop bar to dinner, so I went for comfortable shoes and wore these sandals. The reviews say they run large and to go up a size, but I ordered my regular size and they fit fine. Also, I enjoyed a really tasty cocktail while we were there. Can’t wait to share it with you on next week’s Thirsty Thursday post!

The Tarheels won their game yesterday afternoon, so they play again tonight! Some people have projected them to receive a #1 seed during the NCAA Tournament. Still can’t believe that, but either way, it’s awesome! P. S. Sorry Duke fans, but any day that Carolina wins and Duke loses in the same day (like they did yesterday), is a really good day in my book!
