Celebrated Vaughn’s birthday at our fave mexican restaurant.

Stayed with my parents in Charlotte the night before we left for Great Wolf Lodge . Always love being with them.

Effie still loves her Disney! Took her to Disney on Ice the other week and it’s still just as magical for her as ever.

The girls are still loving to sing, play and perform at least once a month. Wheeler in her element.

Wheeler and I went to see Dial M for Murder at Dock Street a few weeks ago. We loved it! Alway so impressed with the talent at all of the shows there.

Vaughn and I have been frequenting the aquarium here since we moved to Charleston when Vaughn was 3. When my boys went to Second Presbyterian downtown for preschool, Logan went more days than Vaughn, so we always found our way down the street at the aquarium.
Back then, I will say the aquarium offered more for kids. They even had a 4D movie theater out front that was free and they’d change up the movie every so often. The movies were usually about 10-15min and we always looked forward to Polar Express movie each holiday season. They also had an entire area with a full size jeep you could pretend to ride in and small slides and safari costumes. Who remembers the tube with the dome vou could stand in to be in the middle of the lemurs? And when the touch tank used to have not just sting rays but sharks too.
While we continue to enjoy it now with its many changes, like the cool turtle hospital and the VR swimming with sharks and whales, I just love that Vaughn continues to want to visit when we can and has his route of where to go and what to see. If you haven’t been yet, you should take your littles. This isn’t an ad, just thought l’d give our aquarium some love. They’re already working on getting it ready for Aquarium AGlow and we can’t wait!

We got to watch five scuba divers carve pumpkins for a contest. So neat!

Logan’s still playing lots of tennis. All four still love it and it makes me so happy. Such a great lifelong sport!

The girls hosted a Halloween Party here on Halloween. Lots of kids in an out, along with the boys and their friends. So thankful they still love to be here as their home base.

Wheeler’s been on a ramen kick. She adds different ingredients to it and it brings her joy.

Effie got her permit a few weeks ago and she’s been loving driving around with me. She’s doing great! Thankfully, she’s had lots of practice on the golf cart.

Our first stop after she got her permit was to Harlow & Pearl for coffee.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be putting a Labubu on my Christmas tree.

Effie and Vaughn played Davis Cup this season. Wheeler had to be at church for a meeting but was so sweet to swing by and watch them play their final matches.

Wheeler and I went to see The Sound of Music on tour and it was awesome! We had the best night!

Can’t believe Smoke’s almost 3!

In my happy place.
