Date Night + What I Wore

Last week, Lanier and I enjoyed a nice little date night at a new spot in town, Delaney Oyster House!  We loved every single meal, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the cocktails were extra tasty too!

This Genépy and Tonic Cocktail was amazing!

At an oyster house, of course we couldn’t skip out on ordering oysters.  They were all so tasty, it was hard to choose a favorite.

The only spot in Charleston to offer these, the blue crab claws were a delicious little treat.

I’ve always been a fan of calamari, so when I ordered the octopus I was expecting something similar, but this dish had a Puerto Rican twist.  I loved the mix of textures.

The Forbidden Punch was the best!  I really want to create it at home too!  Their take on an Aperol Spritz.

Another crab dish we loved was this Blue Crab Rice.  Aside from the oysters, this was probably our favorite dish of the evening.

Of course I say that and then I forgot about the scallops dish we enjoyed too.

We ended our meal with a sweet little ice cream treat for dessert!

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this spot.  There’s a hotel next door too, so if you’re visiting, consider staying at Hotel Bella Grace and walking over and trying out Delaney Oyster House.
