It’s Friday! Which means today’s the day I get to finally see the kids! While it’s been a fun week, it was really hard. I don’t think I’ve ever been away from my children this long. After letting them hang with lots of family this week and get spoiled rotten by their grandparents, I know now that I’m only going to do this just once a year. I’ve missed them sooooo incredibly much!

One of my girlfriends and I went to see Bad Moms last night. It’s hilarious, but I cried too. There are definitely some sad parts, but they did a great job of evening out the serious with funny parts which made it a winner in my book. I’d highly recommend it! Before the movie, we headed over to The Obstinate Daughter for a cocktail and oysters. I receive a lot of emails asking my favorite restaurants in town and The Obstinate Daughter is by far one of the ones that tops my list.
Mex-1 is another yummy spot. They have fans with mist which was exactly what my girlfriend and I needed on Wednesday, after sweating it out on the courts.
A view of Shem Creek. One dolphin kept jumping right near where we were sitting. It was fun to watch.

Later that day, we headed downtown to The Alley and played games and bowled.
While we were walking around downtown I spotted this dress in Anthropologie’s window.
It reminds me so much of this one I have from earlier this year with the fringe on the bottom. Next time I’m downtown I’ve got to try it on!
