Tuesday Trends: Fall Fever

While the hubs was away this past weekend, I had some free time to shop…online!  And with all of the new fall lines debuting, it’s really been getting me in the fall shopping mood too.  Of course, it really doesn’t even begin getting cool until October here, but some days start getting cool before then…like yesterday!  Not that I would have left the house in a coat, but it was 78, with a cool breeze!  After many days of 100 degree temps, 78 is a drastic change.  The girls and I spent some time playing outside without sweating, and it was so nice!!

First on the list, I was in search of monogrammed lunch coolers/boxes for the girls, since preschool will be starting next month.  And just like myself when I was younger, I went to only one site…L.L. Bean.  I grew up using L.L. Bean bookbags every year.  P.S. They offer free shipping on everything, all the time.

I got W the pink one, and E, the turquoise one, with the ‘Block’ monogram.
I just love them because they’re so simple and classic, and can be used for years and years.

Next, I headed on over to Patagonia’s website.  The hubs is in much need of a new fleece for the fall, and if you’re ever hunting a great find, Patagonia’s site is THE place to shop.  They offer “web specials”, with most of their items selling for as much as $50 off (just make sure to click on the “web specials” link).  They also offer free shipping, on orders over $75.

(Was $149, Now $104.30) in Bali Blue
This is part of his birthday present (his birthday’s on Friday), so if you see him, please don’t mention this!

Brooks Brothers’ website was one of the last places I did some damage.  I couldn’t leave myself out, after getting the girls and the hubs some goodies.  🙂  While we do have a store here in town, they have a promo for $10 off your first online purchase, so after seeing this great rugby polo, I couldn’t resist, except the one I got is the wineberry (purple) and navy stripe.

Like I said, I’m definitely in the fall mode, a little pre-mature,
but it’ll be great to have once the weather turns chilly!

And last but not least, I had a $20 Nordstrom Note that was about to expire, so I ordered some new Nike Tempo Shorts, because as we all know, you can never have too many!

So, how’d I do?
Have you found any great steals online recently?
I’m always up for a good deal…or at least browsing! 😉

  1. I love raiding LandsEnd Canvas for back to school shopping! I definitely did some damage online shopping in the past few weeks!
