Nashville: Part 1 + What I Wore

As always, Nashville is the best trip, but always a whirlwind.  We flew out on Thursday afternoon.  Loved reading all of our suggestions on where to shop, eat and hang out.  I wish I could’ve visited them all.  The ones we didn’t get to, there’s always next trip! // Wore this super comfy sweatshirt dress for the plane flight.

We were so worried about it being too cold over the weekend, but thankfully the weatherman was wrong.  We lucked out and had the BEST weather!

Like last year, the first night we went to Bartaco for dinner.  Love this place so much I had to revisit it!

After dinner, we went to one of my favorite bars on Broadway, The Stage.  It’s a runner-up to my absolute fave, Tootsie’s.  How amazing is this mural at The Stage?

What I Wore

Dress (Received so many compliments on this dress on Thursday night.  For fit, it’s true to size.  I’m wearing a small.) // Heels (old, similar here)

On Friday night, we headed out to Josephine for dinner.  Many apologies for the lack of pics on Friday during the day.  Sadly, I lost my phone and took no photos.

My sister lives in Nashville (on the far right), so it was awesome to get to hang out with her last weekend!  Always too short!

Everything at dinner was delicious!  Especially loved the brussel sprouts and the steak and fries.

These were the rainbow carrots.  Super yummy too!

Cheers!

Afterward, we walked to another recommendation, Urban Grub.  Loved the atmosphere here.  Next time, I may go here for dinner too, and try out their oysters.  They have a great selection.

To end the evening, we took a trip back to Broadway to try and find my phone…and guess what?  The Stage had it!  I’d left it there the night before.  Lanier’s phone is pretty cracked, so he was going to get my old phone anyway.  So now I have the new X and he’ll get my 7 Plus.  Loving the X so far, by the way!

What I Wore

The cutest dress and under $100!  Felt like I was channeling June Carter Cash in this number.  Paired it with these leggings and my heels are old, but here are similar ones.

I’ll share the second half of my trip on tomorrow’s post.  Hope y’all are having a great week so far!  Our kids have early dismissal today, so I think we’re going to try out a new lunch spot today.

In case you missed it, I shared my favorite newest arrivals on yesterday’s post.  Check it out here.

  1. Josephine was a great choice!! There’s an ice cream shop next door and the line is always so long I’ve never waited for it!! Fun trip!

    1. I saw that! I think it’s Jeni’s? We actually have one of those in Charleston and I had no idea it was a chain until I saw it there. I got a shirt at Emerson Grace right there too. 😉
