Loving Lately: Fave Pieces from Our Trip

First off, can I just say how much I love the fact that Nordstrom carries J.Crew now.  Especially when J.Crew sells out of something, and Nordstrom still has it available in all sizes.  I wore this swimsuit last week and can’t get enough of it!  The rear coverage is amazing and it’s padded too.  The bow on the shoulder is great because it allows you to adjust how tight/loose you want it.  Some of you asked about sizing on this one because it had mixed sizing reviews.  I feel like it’s pretty true to size.  I’m wearing a 6.

I haven’t tried this one on yet, but I feel like it would be super flattering on many body types.

I absolutely adore the embroidery and stripes on this cover-up.  I’m thinking I could probably have done a small, but I liked that the medium was a little looser and a little longer.

J.Crew’s new perfect fit t-shirt is amazing!  Love that they made the sleeves a little longer.  Paired it with these striped Tory Burch sandals.

You may remember this necklace that I’ve posted before.  I love recommending it to all of my Carolina fans.  It’s such a fun, lightweight necklace and currently on sale!  Loving these tassel earrings and this fun tassel charm bracelet too.

If you’re looking for a bikini bottom with great coverage, get this one.  And yes, I had Lanier take a picture of my rear while we were on vacation last week.  Haha.  Just wanted to show y’all how good the coverage was.  This is the top that goes with it.

Another favorite piece I wore last week was this linen jersey tunic by Eileen Fisher.  It’s lightweight, a great length (covers your rear), a bit flowy with side slits and just perfect for summer.  I plan on wearing it as a cover-up some too.  If you’re looking for some great longer tops, Eileen Fisher has quite the selection.  Scroll through below to check out more…

Love the subtle bead detail on this Tory Burch Whale Tail Scarf.  And how cute is this ring?  I’ve always been a big fan of Tory Burch jewelry!  You can wear it with anything in your closet.

I cannot get enough of this ruffle silk sleeveless top.  I’m already trying to think of when I can wear it again and how I’ll style it.  The weight is perfect for the warm summer weather and I love that she added the little ruffles on the trim.  A lot of times, I’ve found that some of these cute printed tops arrive and they’re too boxy or too short, but this top was on the longer side which I love.

Hands down, my favorite shoes from the trip are these palm tree ones.  Tory thought of every cute detail, down to the little beaded coconuts!  For fit, they’re true to size.

Tory Burch really knocked it out of the park with all of their cute shoes this season.  Loving these floral gladiator sandals.

And how fun are these nautical slides?  I know it can be hard deciding what size to order, that’s why I always try to provide a fit guide to help you choose the best size for you.  I will say that Nordstrom does have a super easy return policy.  So if you just can’t decide between two sizes, just order both and send back the ones that don’t fit.  The sticky label comes in the box, so all you have to stick it on the same box and ship it back.  It’s that simple.

I love this swim top so much, seriously just wore it again yesterday.  Pretty colors, it’s padded and just a great fit!

I receive so many compliments on these striped sandals whenever I wear them.  For fit, they’re true to size.  Tory Burch makes both patent leather and leather sandals.  These are patent leather.  If you’re thinking that they’d be hard to style, they really go with just about any solid color out there, even just a pair of shorts and a plain white tee.  She also makes them in about ten other colors, so if you want something more neutral, she has lots of nude colors too.

Lots of great pieces for summer that I plan on wearing on repeat, and honestly have already…and it’s not even summer yet!  I guess in Charleston, summer weather arrives a bit sooner than other regions, but that’s why I love it.  Bring on the sun!

After the girls were finished with their homework yesterday, we all headed out to the pool.  Sadly, it was short-lived as a huge storm cloud started approaching.  Of course to be safe we headed home, and then the storm never actually hit.  Oh well, better safe than sorry!  But they did get to swim for about an hour, so we can’t complain too much!  For those of you waiting for our Sanibel Recap, Part 1, it’s coming soon!  Finishing it up today!

Thanks to Nordstrom for their partnership on this post.
