How I Do It: Vacations are Necessary

I haven’t been away from all four of my children, for an entire weekend, ever. While I missed them while I was gone, this weekend was exactly what the hubs and I needed. Time for each other, catching up with old friends and celebrating a best friend’s marriage. These kinds of weekends are hard to come by, but I’m so thankful when we get to enjoy them!

Thankfully, the ominous rain clouds held off for most of the weekend in Charleston.

I finally had some time (since I was without kids) to stop into Lululemon and try on some pieces. Needless to say, I can understand why it’s an addiction! Everything fit so well! The ladies at the Charleston location were super friendly and helpful with sizing and fit.

Saturday afternoon, we picked up some lunch to-go at Home Team BBQ on Sullivan’s Island. Their wings are so good! I also tried out this frozen concoction called The Game Changer.

The wedding ceremony was outside. How genius are these Heels Above caps, to keep heels from sinking into the grass?

This pretty much sums up how much fun they had at Gigi and Grandaddy’s house this past weekend.

Thank you so much Mama and Daddy (and Coco and Vinny) for taking on my job for a couple of days! It ain’t easy! But the kids had a blast the entire time…I don’t think they ever stopped!
