Favorite Tennis Attire

 

I’ve had some readers ask about what I usually wear when I play tennis and asked if I’d offer some suggestions of what to wear.  If you’ll remember, I just started playing again this year, after taking a three year break.  Most of my tennis clothes at the beginning of the tennis season were old tennis skirts and tees I’ve had in my drawers for awhile.  But when I started playing more often, I wanted some new pieces!

I’ve loved Zella’s Live-In Leggings and tanks for awhile now, so when I went to look for some new tennis clothes, that’s right where I went to shop.

I put together this little collage below while I was shopping online, hoping that these pieces would fit when they arrived in the mail.  As I’ve worn Zella pieces before, I knew that they fit a little small, so I made sure to size up in everything.  So I’m usually a small and went with mediums in everything.  Since we don’t have a Nordstrom in town, I always have to order my Zella pieces.  It’s totally fine.   And as I reiterate all the time, it’s super easy to return items at Nordstrom.  I can’t count how many times I’ve ordered two sizes and sent back the one that didn’t fit of the two sizes.  But if you’re lucky enough to have a Nordstrom in your city, you can also return items you ordered straight to the store.

I also got this hot pink jacket which I love too!  Just like Zella’s other pieces, make sure and order a size up, unless you want it really fitted.

Last Thursday, I tried out my new Zella Tennis Skort for the first time and loved it!  Super comfortable and I loved the color!  Now I’m just wishing I had ordered this long sleeve tee, since it was a little chilly last Thursday morning, but thankfully I still had this tee in my car to keep me warm!

I was so excited to wear my entire new outfit out last Saturday, and loved all of the pieces so much!  The stretch of the fabric is super easy to maneuver around in.  I’m definitely going back for more tank colors!

Obviously, you don’t necessarily have to be a tennis player to wear all of these pieces.  Whatever you’re doing to exercise, any of these Zella pieces would be perfect for you.  Over 200+ items to shop from in the women’s section alone!

Seriously though, now that I’m back playing again, it’s so fun to shop around for more gear and I’m so thankful I’ve found some great pieces in bright colors that are so comfortable!  Hope y’all have the same luck!
