A New Dress for Spring (Only $58) + More Favorite Pastel Dresses

With the first day of Spring being this Sunday, I’m counting down the hours until it arrives!  So ready for this crazy winter to be over already.  While the weather continues to be 80s one day and 60s another, I’m hoping after this last little blast of cooler air we’re projected to get this weekend, that that will be in the end of it.  I must admit, we finally have rain here this morning and I’m kind of happy to see it.  The pollen here has been unreal.  On my run the other day with Vaughn in the stroller, I swear I could see a wall of pollen that we were inhaling as I ran.  Thank goodness I get allergy shots, otherwise I’d be hiding inside for most of these high pollen count days.  I’m just hoping that it’s rained enough that it’s washed most of the pollen away.  Fingers crossed!

Alright, now onto the real topic of today’s post…this spring dress!  I don’t know why I tend to lean toward blue hues this time of year.  Maybe it’s the Carolina girl in me, but I love a pretty pastel blue in the spring time.  A runner-up would probably be lavender, but when I saw this dress, I knew it’d be perfect this season.  The blue has enough grey in it that you could definitely pull it off as a neutral, and pair it with so many other fun colors.  I can picture pops of coral, turquoise, light pink, etc.

For today’s outfit, I stayed on the same color wheel and added an icy blue pop with my new Tory Burch Mini Saddle Bag, which I love by the way!  Crossbodies are probably my favorite, and I just love how this one isn’t too bulky and the lines are so classic.  If you’re a mother, you’ll know it’s always nice to have your hands free, wherever you go with your kiddos.  It also comes in a beautiful poppy color, as well as camel and black.  I had a hard time choosing between the light blue and camel color.

And the best part of this dress?  It’s only $58!  Fit is true to size.  I was worried about it being too short, but I like the cut of it.  I’m 5’6″ if anyone wants to compare how the length would look on them.

It also comes in black, ivory, deco rose and coral.

If you need more convincing, read the reviews.  Lots of accolades for this dress!

ASTR Dress // Tory Burch Mini Leather Saddle Bag // Michael Kors Wedges (on sale, true to size) // Kendra Scott Ring (Still love how lightweight this little ring is, and the sparkle of the iridescent drusy.) // Kate Spade Floral Studs (A perfect springy touch to any outfit!) // MAC Lip in Candy Yum Yum (This is by far one of my favorite colors and wear it all the time.) // Karen Walker Sunglasses (I’ve had these sunnies for a few years now, and still continue to love wearing them.  I don’t know wear them as often as I do my aviators or latest Le Specs ones, but they’re such a statement and so fun!)

Here are a few other pastel dresses I’m loving, and perfect for Spring!

As I mentioned before, it’s supposed to be a cooler one here this weekend.  But you know we’ll make the most of it!  Is anyone filling out brackets for March Madness?  After the first day of games, I’m doing pretty well.  And my Tarheels won last night, so we’re extra excited!

I hope y’all have a great weekend!

TGIF, Y’all!
