Fashion Friday: BLACK FRIDAY SALES + Tory Burch + More

Alright, the sale you’ve/I’ve been waiting for all week…TORY BURCH!  I know they’ve had sales throughout the year, but none this great!  Here are the details…

USE CODE: HOLIDAY AT CHECK-OUT, plus free shipping!

So, if you spend at least $300, you can take 20% off even the sale items.  Like the purple and electric eel Carolines featured below are knocked down to $125 (originally $225), the Lawrie Boots are $294 (originally $525), and the Bristol Boots are $277.  Great Christmas gifts, if you ask me.  Hurry, the sale ends Monday, December 2nd at midnight, and quantities are extremely limited!

Electric Eel and Purple on sale, with an additional 20% off.
Fit: True to Size.
I wear an 8.5.
These fit a lot like the Reva, super comfy.  Many people claim that they’re more comfortable than the Reva, but I love both just the same.  The Reva has an elastic back, the Caroline does not.
These are on my Christmas list, love the stripe!
Have these and can’t wait to wear them this spring/summer – will look awesome with a tan!
Fit: Runs a little Small.
I wear a 9, but could still get away with an 8.5.

Fit: Runs Large.
I have heard from many readers that they have a hard time wearing the Chelseas.  I know it sounds crazy, but the problem may be the size they’re trying.  I’m an 8.5, and wear a 7.5 in these, and haven’t had any problems with the way they fit.
These have rave reviews, and I have been searching for a great black boot.
Marked down to $277.  Such a great deal for Tory Burch Boots!
These go with everything, you can dress them up or down.  I wear mine to church a lot.
Fit: True to Size.
I wear an 8.5.
The Reva is the classic Tory Burch flat.  It always will be.  It’s so popular that during most of these sales, they’re often excluded.  Luckily, with this sale, they’re included, with free shipping!  If this is your first pair, go with a classic color, either the black or the royal tan.  Either color will get lots of wear.  And just an extra heads up, since the Revas are rarely included in these sales, sizes will sell out fast!

Sally Wedges (2″ heel) // Sophie Wedges (4″ heel)
Sally Fit: Runs Large (I wear an 8)
Sophie Fit: Runs Large (I go a whole size down, to a 7.5)
Both pumps are great pumps to own.  I own both in different colors.  The Sally wedge is 2″ versus the 4″ Sophie.  If you’re wanting something a little more formal (i.e. Sunday church, wedding, etc.), I’d go with the Sophie.  If you want a little height, to wear all day, get the Sally.  Both wedges are very comfortable, stylish and classic.  I think the reason to go down a whole size in the Sophie is that gravity naturally pushes your foot forward, so the higher the shoe, the farther it’s going to push it down.  When I tried the 8.5 and even the 8 in the Sophie, my foot was slipping in the back.
Wear mine in both tan and black ALL the time!
Fit: Runs a little Small.
I wear a 9.
These are a great pair of neutral flip flops.  I used to wear Rainbows and Havaianas, but neither are as comfortable and as water-resistant, as these.
You can’t go wrong with stocking up on next summer’s flip flops, especially when they’re on mega-sale!

As always, just a side note, everyone’s feet are different, so this just my take on how these shoes fit, other may disagree, based on their foot shape, and that’s totally okay.

Other Miller Sandals I’m currently loving…
I know I’m kind of crazy to think of getting sandals for Christmas, for the cold winter, but I love getting items I can save, and then they’re little surprises to open up, once the weather gets warmer!

I think these Azalea Flats (true to size, I wear an 8.5 in these, just like the Revas and Carolines) would be perfect for so many get-togethers/parties this holiday season, and throughout the year!

I think I’m going to pull the trigger on these Blue Stripe Caroline Flats!  Perfectly preppy to wear now, and later.

E and I, at W’s Thanksgiving Program, this past Tuesday.
And while we’re talking Hunter Rain Boots, Nordstrom just released this color
I have a feeling these won’t last long!
My Thanksgiving Attire: J.Crew Camo Vest (currently 30% off with code: HOLIDAY) // Tuckernuck Monogram Necklace (Size 1″) // J.Crew Factory Plaid Top (sold out, but I’m loving this one, currently 50% off with code: HOLIDAY50) // Emi-Jay Navy Hair-Tie (great stocking stuffer)
Girls’ Patagonia Down Sweater Jackets // Morgan & Milo Shoes (currently on sale) // Crewcuts Leopard Leggings (currently 30% off with code: HOLIDAY)
So it was clearly freezing this Thanksgiving, I think the high was 35 degrees.  But that didn’t stop the girls from playing outside.  Happy as clams, playing with the frozen ice in the water fountain.
Although I’m “cut off” from having more babies, I can still get baby fever, right?
Here, with my sweet little nephew, W (three months old).
Sisters in order (left to right, 1-6): A, A, C, K, A & MC
I’ll tell y’all what, seriously get yourself these boots!  I hate taking them off, I love them so much!  Also available here and here.
I hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!  I’m thankful for so many things this Thanksgiving, but most especially, for the bond that my sisters and I share.  Wouldn’t change it for the world!  And we wouldn’t know how to have the unfaltering love and connection with each other, without the example of my parents, and above all, the Lord, who teaches us to share that love with others.
Thank God for your special blessings this Thanksgiving holiday!

HAPPY SHOPPING TODAY!  AND GOOD LUCK!

  1. I always love it when I wake up in the morning and see the Black Friday email from Tory Burch. To avoid the actual craziness of Black Friday I stopped by my TB boutique last Saturday for some prep work. Every pair of Tory flats seems to be on my must have list but there is one pair my salesgirl wanted me to try on. The Irish Charcoal snake print Reva flats. I was instantly sold on them with the snake print and more impressive the gunmetal TB medallion on the toe. YES gunmetal! I'm kind of a regular there so my awesome salesgirl said she put them on hold to pick up during the BF sale. Not Friday she said, it's too crazy, come Saturday so you can get these and maybe another pair. I'm so excited cuz tomorrow Saturday! Any new TB stuff for you? Happy Thanksgiving.

    1. I have the python Revas from last year, but the ones you're describing sound gorgeous! Have fun tomorrow! You'll have to let me know if you get anymore! I have my eye on an Azalea pair. Thought they'd be great for the holidays!! May add another pair too, we'll see… Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving too!!

    2. The purple Azalea's look amazing in person. I honestly think that is the most unique colour of all. I also saw the Carolines. They look amazing too and much better in person. Can't wait for you to post about both pairs.

  2. I have the Frye Melissa Buttons and I hardly ever take them off!!! I waited far too long to buy them and they are worth every penny!!! I have them in bordeaux and cannot wait to grab another style/color.
