The coolest part of our trip was getting to watch a rocket take-off. It was close enough for us to see it launch, we could feel the ground rumble and it got so warm. It was pretty awesome. This was at 1:45am. Thankfully they had a live channel so we didn’t have to walk out until there was about ten minutes before launch time.
Especially cool that Wheeler was reading Project Hail Mary this week while this happened. I’ve started reading it too. Enjoying it so far!
We all had our own beds, but loved relaxing together in the mornings. Lots of football games to watch while we were there too.
