Wednesday Whereabouts: Wheeler’s 9th Birthday Party

This past Saturday, we celebrated Wheeler’s 9th Birthday at the pool.  We had the best time and the weather couldn’t have been better!

The cute little photo booth was a huge hit!

How cute and creative are all of these little games?  I cannot take credit for any part of the decorations!  It was all my good friend, Lauren and her business, POP (Parties on Point).  Head here for more details.  As if it’s not obvious enough, she’s amazing!  She even created those gorgeous paper flowers!  We didn’t have to set up or break down any part of this birthday – extremely helpful for a mama with four kiddos!

All Wheeler asked for was a Pool Luau Party and I think we brought it!  One she’ll never forget!

How cute were her flamingo invitations by Minted?  Just like with our Christmas cards, I’ll never order from anywhere else!  Great customer service and fast shipping!

Just a little excited about her birthday party!

What We Wore – Matching in Lilly

Wheeler’s Suit // On Me: Seaspray Wrap // Swim Top // Sunnies

I hope y’all are having an awesome week so far!  We’re thinking of braving the heat and heading to our first Riverdogs game tonight.  We’ll see how that goes!

Happy Wednesday, Y’all!

  1. Ahh! This looks adorable! I would love to know what you served for food… I always need ideas for kids’ parties! Did they handle the food, too? That’s an awesome company!!

Since Wheeler just turned 9, is she finishing up 2nd or 3rd grade? Summer birthdays are always hard to determine when to start them! LOVE the matching Lilly! That is so stinkin’ cute!!

    1. She didn’t provide the food, but you can add that on, at an extra cost. I just kept it simple and had pizza and juice boxes. Had sodas for the adults. And served cake for dessert. 😉

She just finished up second grade. We had a hard time deciding whether to send her on or not. She went to an accredited church kindergarten program that was a shorter day, 9-1. Then did another year of regular kindergarten after that.

  2. Can you share where you got those awesome blooming flowers on the birthday backdrop? Love them!
