Wednesday Whereabouts + What I Wore

Effie will be 9 in just TWO days!  Can’t even believe it!  How is she this old already??

I hope she always stays so helpful, loving and sweet!  Dress // Sunnies // Headband

Wheeler lopped her hair off this week!  She always says she wants to cut it shorter, but when we go to get it cut she backs out and usually only wants a trim.

Well, this time she actually went through with it and I am so glad!  Looks so much healthier…even though she looks 15 here!

So excited that it’s finally sweater weather here!  Loving this pink one!

Holiday decor going up!  Makes me so excited!

We saw The Grinch on Friday.  It was so cute and the kids loved it!

Love when they help me organize!  Got this little stand here.

This is the comfiest top that I seriously wear it all the time.  Only $18 right now.  Paired it with these leggings and these sandals.

Effie’s tall order of pancakes tee in front of Waffle House.  Haha.  Currently 35% off right now!  It’s hard to see in the pic, but the syrup is gold glitter.  She loves it!

We’ve been hit with lots of cold, dreary rain here lately.  Nothing like a warm holiday cup for a pick-me-up!  Had lots of you ask about my nail color.  It’s Essie After School Blue Blazer – a very dark navy.

Kendra Scott opened up on King Street this past weekend!  There’s so much good stuff that it’s almost overwhelming.  They have everything!  It’s on the same block as Anthro and J.Crew.

How sweet is this King and Snow Queen Nutcracker?

And their ornaments are always my fave!  It’s always so hard to choose just one.  So loving all of the holiday decor going up everywhere!  This one is probably my favorite!

We also headed over to Celadon for their anniversary party.  Such a pretty cake, almost too pretty to cut!

Always the best vendors!  I picked up a few pieces of jewelry from local boutiques.

Lanier took Vaughn to the Sting Rays game for a Father/Son date on Saturday night.  We’re not big hockey fans so I worried Vaughn wouldn’t enjoy it.  But boy, did he.

Still loving this view.  Would make a great customized gift.  Head over here to see more of Kim’s amazing work!

Was so proud of Wheeler for helping with the children’s moment on Sunday morning.  Love that she enjoys helping out so much!

This Is Us.

It’s hard to see here, but I just got these new heels and LOVE them!  They’re so different and fun!  For fit, they’re true to size.  Tassel earrings here.

Love that they still love to play the traditional games like Sorry.  They never get old.

Wheeler is running for treasurer at school and having the best time with it!  She has to make a speech in front of all the 4th and 5th grade students and parents on Friday since she’s in the top three.  I’d be so nervous if I were in her shoes, but she absolutely LOVES it.

Went to EVO this week before heading to see the show, Something Rotten.  We absolutely loved it!  Not appropriate for the girls though.  Glad we decided not to bring them.

Pistachio Pesto – delicious!

What I Wore

It poured for most of the evening, so this outfit was the most appropriate.  How cute is this new sweater?  Lots of questions on sizing.  So the small I felt like was a little too short for me, so I went with the medium.  I like that it’s roomier too.  Wore this long top under it, so I could pair it with leggings.  Only $19! // Leggings // Rainboots (I’m an 8.5 and wear an 8 in them) // Crossbody // Earrings

Hope y’all are having a great week so far!

Happy Wednesday!
