Wednesday Whereabouts: Visiting Santa

Yesterday, we headed off to meet Santa…with Boozer in tow.  Since it was ‘Pet Day,’ I thought I’d give it a whirl.  Since they changed the location of Santa’s spot this year, we seriously had to follow the reindeer hoof prints they left on the sidewalk to lead us in the right direction.  Otherwise, I would’ve never found him.  The kids loved it!

With all the rain we’ve had lately, and more expected later this week, I was so grateful we picked a beautiful day to get out and see him.  We rarely take Boozer out in public places, as he can be a total spaz at times…yes, even at 12 years old.  But he did great!

Can’t believe this was four years ago!  Poor boys!

To this year!  And even Boozer smiled!  He looks like a baby.

Last night, the girls and I went to see The King and I with Lanier’s mom (Grammy to the kids).  Love all the lights in Park Circle!  If you’re ever around that area, park and take a walk around.

Because you can never have enough Mexican food in your life!

I thought the girls would think that parts of the show were a little boring, especially since they didn’t know many of the songs, but they surprisingly said they loved it!

This salad I had at Vespa the other day was divine!  The warm bacon vinaigrette was the perfect touch!

What We Wore

This dress is one of the dresses I shared on yesterday’s post.  Honestly, anything that fits like this from DVF, I can’t pass up!  I feel like she only makes this design every few years, so when it comes out, I jump on it.  I still have a few of them from years past and still get so many compliments on them whenever I wear them.  For fit, it runs big.  Definitely go down at least one size.  Soft, flowy perfection!  The style is called the Effie.  😉 // Paired with these earrings (now on sale for $24.99) and this lip color in Power On // Girls are wearing dresses and bows from Southern Belles.  The dress designer is Area Code 407 and the gold bows are by Wee Ones.

This is another DVF fave that I wore last year on Christmas Eve.  So many of you asked where it was from, and it was a DVF dress from 2015 that I still absolutely LOVE!

I’m also loving this one and it’s on sale, with an extra 30% off with code: HOLIDAY30!  Was $428, now $119 and currently available in all sizes!

Hope y’all are having a great week so far!  The children have their Christmas choir concert tonight at church.  Can’t wait!
