Wednesday Whereabouts: St. John Trip: Part 2

The clear water was literally sparkling.

If you don’t have a pair of these jellies yet, they’re so fun.  A little different than your go-to flip flops for the beach.  For fit, I’m an 8.5 and sized down to an 8 in them.

On Saturday night, we headed out to dinner.  It was probably our least favorite meal of the trip, but we had fun nonetheless!  Natalie, Caycee and Krystine are such a trip!  I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard in a long time!  I captioned this pic on my Instagram with “Girl’s trips are good for the soul” and I truly believe it.

What I Wore

Dress (Restocked!  Currently available in all sizes here too!) // Sandals

Loved the island charm.

Cover-Up (on sale with code: GOBIG17) // One Shoulder Bikini Top

On Sunday, we spent the day on the beach.  Soaking up our last full day! // Visor // Sunnies

Striped Swim Top

Loved carrying this mesh tote over the weekend.  Only $35!

Because you can’t go to a tropical island and not have a piña colada! // Pink Necklace (worn as a bracelet)

The cutest little chicks!  There were tons of big lizards too.  And you could hear roosters too.

On Sunday night, we headed out to a highly recommended restaurant spot called Extra Virgin.

The food met all expectations!  Loved the gnocchi.

I had the seafood papparadelle for my entree and it was incredible!

Extra Virgin uses all natural ingredients in their food, many are grown right at their restaurant.  Thought that was pretty cool.

What I Wore

Romper (on sale with code: GOBIG17) // Wedges (also available in all sizes here) // Sunnies // Crossbody

Monday morning was our last day.  We enjoyed relaxing massages as our final wind down. // Pink PJs

Our final lunch before heading home was probably my favorite.  Still dreaming about this BLT with mango chutney and melted brie.  YUM!  Can you tell we indulged on this trip?  But then again, that’s what vacations are all about, right?

Was excited to get to wear my new Lilly Dress!  They call it a cover-up, but I wore it with a nude bra and it wasn’t see-through. // Sandals // Sunnies

On the ferry ride home.

And because you know I couldn’t walk past a sunglasses station without trying a few on.  Addict over here.  I’m wearing this pair. // Tee // Shorts // Tote

See you next time, St. John!

I know this is super random, since it’s a sweater and I just finished sharing my tropics pics, but I wanted to let y’all know that this ruffle sweater is now only $27! // Pink Flats

If you need some pictures framed, Framebridge will be hosting a pop-up at Joann’s (2243 Ashley Crossing Drive) until Friday, March 17th.  Even if you’re not local, head to Framebridge for all of your framing needs.  I’m actually headed over there today and taking some of my prints I’ve been meaning to frame for awhile now, like these two Sophie & Lili customs of the children.

And without skipping a beat, this weekend brings more fun!  Charleston’s Wine and Food Festival starts today!  I’m excited to announce that I’ll be part of the media team covering the 12th annual festival, as part of their Street Team!  If you’re on Instagram, our hashtag is #CHSWFFStreetTeam.  Look for pics from many of the events on next week’s Wednesday Whereabouts.  And if you’re attending, I hope to see you there!

To celebrate the beginning of March, I’ve got another giveaway for you!  Head to this Instagram post for details on how to enter to win these two Charleston Rice Beads necklaces.  The winner will be announced on Monday morning!

Happy Thursday!  Sure hoping the rain stops before this weekend’s festivities!

    1. They’re old from last summer. Old Navy. They were such a great (bigger) fit than the Marysia ones!

  1. Ashley – do you think the Jack Rogers jellies are fairly comfy? The reviews are all over the board on Nordstrom. Loved all the vacay picks!

  2. Can you link to the beach bag? The link on here goes to your sandals from Shopbop! Thanks!
