Wednesday Whereabouts + J.Crew Extra 40% Off Sale Items

This past Saturday, we had the best time celebrating a good friend’s birthday at the pool!
Only three more months of the bottle for this little guy.  Can’t believe he’s already 9 months!
I think his head is seriously bigger than E’s!
Vacation Bible School started this week, so W has enjoyed picking out some fun hair styles.
This green ribbon has been a special request all week (she got it off a birthday present).
 I volunteered in art at VBS on Monday, and had the best time.
I also enjoyed spying on W, riding on her tricycle, with her best buddy, on the playground.
W and E have picked up wrestling, and think it’s hilarious.
To be honest, it kind of scares me.  They’re rough!
I went to see Spamalot last night.  If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s so good!

I realize it’s hard to think jeans, with it being so hot right now, but if you’re on the hunt for a great pair of go-to, classic jeans, get them now, while they’re on mega-sale!  I wear this exact style with everything all fall/winter, and even better is that they’re flattering on all body types because the wash is such a dark blue.

  1. I went to J. Crew the other week after you raved about the Camille dress and managed to score one in Neon Violet for only $85, including tax thanks to the 40% off sale items promo. It was the best dress to wear to the wedding ceremony I attended so I'm so glad you recommended it! I also managed to get the polka dot linen shorts for only $20, which is great. I love the bright coral colour!

  2. When you were expecting, did you just go a few sizes up in shorts and jeans? I love the matchstick jcrew jeans but I'm not sure how they will do on a pregnant body.

    1. I went up about three sizes, when I was expecting. I just noticed that J.Crew came out with a maternity style in their pixie pants. I'm not sure if they're true to sizem since they're so new but I'd give them a shot! Congratulations on your soon-to-be newest arrival!!

  3. Can you please post more about what L and V are wearing? I have twin boys, and, of course, the girls' stuff is cuter, but I love to see preppy boy baby clothes, too. Also, I wish I loved my thighs enough to wear toothpick jeans. :/. I love seeing all your posts!

    1. I'll do a post on what they wear soon. Thanks for the suggestion! I would try the Matchstick since they're longer, and if you wear heels/wedges with them, your legs will look even longer, and elongate your thighs. 😉

    2. Thanks for the suggestion about the jeans! I am short in general, and I have proportionately short legs, boo :(. It's hard finding stuff that is mom-friendly and flattering for me.
