What a week! We knew the weather was going to be bad, so we planned as much outside time as we could before the storm. No school this past Friday meant tennis for the mamas and playground time for the kiddos. // Ruffle Shoes // Tennis Bag // Tennis Grips
Lunch Date at one of our faves, Mex-1!
When they finally reported that Charleston wasn’t going to be hit nearly as bad as expected, we decided to stay in town. On Saturday, I think we were the only people on our boat, and it was such a fun day! The water was a little choppy against the windy, but not that bad. // Wore this striped dress (also available here) over this bikini top. // Sunnies // My friend is wearing my tortoise sunnies that are great for Fall!
The calm before the storm.
Over the weekend, I did a pretty poor job taking pictures to share when the weather started getting bad. But we spent much of it letting the kids watch movies and playing games who remembers Guess Who?
Playing on my phone…
We lost power during the storm, but thankfully had good friends that let us stay with them while we waited it out.
Still can’t get over all the water and all the flooding! Downtown was hit the worst.
Thanking our lucky stars that our cars weren’t in the driveaway when this tree fell! I posted a few pics of some comfort food that we enjoyed over the weekend on Instastories and some of you asked for recipes. I’ll have that up for you soon!
I came home to a package filled with new pieces that I can’t wait to wear this Fall. When the weather cools toss on a jacket, like this one, with this look below and you’re good to go!
The rest of the week (and probably the next few), I’m all about purging! I’m in major clean-out mode starting today! After an eventful few months of school starting back, the eclipse and now this hurricane, I’m hoping things settle down and I can finally get organized and on a routine. If you have any organization suggestions, I’m all ears!
Happy Wednesday, Y’all!
